A bit of Monster Hunter news was revealed at Paris Games Week’s Sony PlayStation Showcase. The beta will offer three quests in two areas, the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste. And as a nice tie-in bonus, Aloy’s bow and full armor set from Horizon Zero Dawn will be on offer for PS4 players, which also turns their character’s face into Aloy’s, plus armor for Palico that is designed after one of the machines in Horizon Zero Dawn. A trailer shows off the goodies, along with a new area, the Rotten Vale.

Additionally, so have pre-orders, which offer two stat-boosting bonuses, the Origin Set Armor and the Fair Wind Charm talisman. Capcom also notes that both items “may be made available through alternative means at a later date.” In addition to the standard edition, the studio will be releasing two other versions. A $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition comes with several extras: a Samurai Set skin, three gestures, two sticker sets, extra face paint and hair style for the hunter, and 14 weapon-themed PSN avatars. The $149.99 Collector’s Edition adds a 32-page hardcover art book, a statue, a digital soundtrack, and a special box to the digital bonuses .
