Last week, Bethesda revealed The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s next add-on, Dark Brotherhood. Today, they have followed up with a more detailed rundown of what’s going to be included in the 2,000-crown pack. The assassin guild will unlock a new passive skill line with which players can take out citizens with impunity, protected as they are by the Shadows of Sithis. Located on the Gold Coast, last seen in Oblivion, the Brotherhood will send players on tasks in two new cities, Anvil and Kvatch. There’s danger lurking about, though, in the form of a black-armored warrior who is on the hunt for assassins. Battling him will take players through new story content. Virtual killers for hire will also have access to repeatable bounty quests, contract kill quests, and sacrament quests.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is about to get a new faction, the Dark Brotherhood. A new video has been released showcasing the shadowy assassins that will be included in an upcoming downloadable pack. Assassins will have their own passive skill line, a storyline, and new repeatable quests involving Contracts and the Black Sacrament. Price and a release date weren’t in the announcement, but they will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Bethesda is offering a first look at the upcoming DLC pack Thieves Guild for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The add-on will allow players to join the guild for the first time, who focus on stealing, robbing, and pickpocketing their way to fortune and glory. Players will be able to steal from the shadows and sneak along roofs as they recover lost treasure, explore a new zone, tackle new story content, and take part in a new 12-player trial. Pricing and other details will be released in the upcoming weeks.

Final Fantasy XI final big update launched, Seekers of Adoulin

Square Enix is capping off 14 years of Final Fantasy XI with one final update. Seekers of Adoulin adds a new area, Reisenjima, where players will battle to secure Vana’diel. To celebrate, all accounts inactive as of October 23 will be able to play the ending chapter for free from November 13 through 24, and all previous releases are also being discounted. The Seekers of Adoulin expansion pack will be $4.99 (from $9.99) and the all-in-one Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition will be $9.99 (from $39.99) from tomorrow until November 30. Bethesda has detailed and previewed the latest downloadable pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, Orsinium. The add-on will expand the realm with two public dungeons for solo and group play (Old Orsinium, Rkindaleft), a nine-ring arena challenge with two difficulty levels (The Maelstrom Arena), and the Orcs’ ancestral home, Orsinium, in the Wrothgar Mountains. New gear, unique crafting skills, and quests are also being added, all of which is estimated to add over 20 hours of play time. PC gamers are getting a chance to play the Orsinium later today when it goes up for testing on the Public Test Server.

The first download pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, Imperial City, has gone live for Mac and Windows PC. Console gamers will be able to download it on September 16. The expansion finds the Imperial City overrun by the Daedric forces of Prince Molag Bal and all three alliances facing off to regain the city for themselves. The add-on features six Imperial Districts offering areas for player-versus-player and player-versus-environment combat; new dungeons, with the Imperial Sewers for small groups of player-versus-player and player-versus-environment challenges, and White-Gold Tower and Imperial Prison for player-versus-environment challenges; new quests and enemies; and a new form of currency, Tel Var Stones, along with Veteran Rank 16 weapons and kit. Players can also explore to find an assortment of new costumes, mounts, pets, and polymorphs.

Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PS4 and Xbox One. The MMO, set in the world made famous by Morrowind and Skyrim, has recently transitioned from a subscription-based to a single-purchase model, with $59.99 buying the original game along with all content updates and additions. However, the game does feature optional in-game purchases for customization and convenience items. An ESO Plus subscription is also on offer for those who want access to all downloadable content packs, exclusive in-game perks, and a monthly stipend of crowns. Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Lost Song coming to US

Bandai Namco is revisiting Sword Art Online later this year with two different releases. Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will launch on PSN for PS4 this summer, and Sword Art Online: Lost Song is slated to hit PSN and store shelves for PS4 and PS Vita this fall. Both titles will follow original stories based on the anime and manga. Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will include the original PS Vita version as well as all downloadable content (at a later date) and the ability to carry over some items from the PS Vita version for those who still have their save files. No word on whether the translation will be improved, though. Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the third game adaption and will feature an original storyline set within the follow-up VRMMORPG, ALfheim Online.

The first video covered the amount of choice in options and play styles, while the latest details the possible activities for players to partake in, such as dungeons world bosses, Trials, and the Alliance War in Cyrodiil. Castle sieges, large-scale battles, and hulking bosses are all on display during the three-minute run time.

Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited trailer highlights choice

Bethesda has released a new video for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Titled Freedom and Choice in Tamriel, the footage focuses on the extensive options available to players, such as the classes and races they can choose from to the playstyles made possible by the extensive amount of ability specialization options. Tamriel Unlimited includes all of the content from the original ESO, plus all subsequent patches and content updates, but without the subscription fee.
