The Elder Scrolls Online – Orsinium turns 1 with discounts, events

Bethesda is celebrating the anniversary of Elder Scrolls Online’s second downloadable pack, Orsinium. For new buyers, the studio has dropped the price for the add-on by 75% down to 750 crowns ($6.25), while the Collector’s Bundle is 60% off, adding a Cave Bear mount, a Cave Bear pet, and five crown experience scrolls. Current players can earn double loot and rewards from world bosses, daily delves, and the Maelstrom Arena. Resource nodes in Orsinium will also net double the amount of materials. The drop adds a new zone, a single-player monster arena, public dungeons, and an estimated 20-plus hours of story content focused on the Orcs.

The Elder Scrolls Online kicks off The Witches Festival

The Elder Scrolls Online is getting into the season today with the commencement of The Witches Festival. Conjurors, demonologists, and other nefarious sorts will meet in secret throughout Tamriel from now until the end of the month. Through their magical incantations, players will be able to turn themselves and others in their group into the Undead, earn event achievements, gain a 100% experience boost, and score themed loot, including exclusive masks. To join, players will need to get the free Crow Caller from the Crown Store, then blow it to engage The Witchmother’s Bargain, a quest that will reward the Witchmother’s Whistle. Using the whistle will summon a cauldron that morphs players into the undead for two hours, during which time, they will be able to gain Festival loot by killing bosses for Plunder Skulls.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition released for console, PC

Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The bundle includes the main game and all four major downloadable packs. The full set allows players to take on new quests in Skyrim, Daggerfall, Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and the Gold Coast. The packs also add the Thieves Guild as well as the Dark Brotherhood. Current players can downloadable all of the packs in a new downloadable set, Guilds and Glory, for 5,500 Crowns.

Elder Scrolls Online to receive PS4 Pro support patch, 4K trailer up

Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will support PS4 Pro. It will be one of the first titles to take advantage of the new hardware, via a free update. To show off the updated visuals, the studio has released a gameplay trailer showing the game running in 4K on the new system. Note that the trailer requires a 4K monitor to view in all its glory.

Update adds dungeons, more to PC version of Elder Scrolls Online

Update 11 has gone live for the Mac and Windows PC version of The Elder Scrolls Online. The download adds two new Argonian-themed four-player dungeons plus a slew of customization options via the Style Parlor. Through the parlor, players will be able to change their appearance, name, and race, as well as dye their costume and access “a large selection of cosmetic and quality of life additions.” Console players will be able to download Update 11 on August 16 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which, in addition to the PC update, will also introduce text chat. The Shadows of the Hist two-dungeon pack is available for 1,500 Crowns, while appearance and race-change tokens are 1,000 Crowns each and the name-change tokens are 2,500 Crowns each.

All Points Bulletin Reloaded launches for Xbox One

The free-to-play action MMO All Points Bulletin Reloaded has been released for Xbox One. The near-future, open-world title takes place in San Paro, where players sign on as either an Enforcer or a Criminal. Up to 100 players, in teams of up to 50, can participate in various missions types (deathmatch, hunting VIPs, etc.) and timed events. Characters are customizable with player-created designs, items earned for free, and kit purchased with cash. Items are available for gear, clothing, vehicles, and more. User-created items can also be put up for auction. To welcome new players, every Xbox One player who logs in within the first 30 days will receive the Xbox One Founders Pack, which includes weapons and vehicles. Players who manage to put in over 10 hours within the same timeframe will also receive the title XB1 Founder and special weapon skins.

The Dark Brotherhood has moved into Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s new expansion adds the pugnacious assassins, along with a passive skill line, repeatable bounty quests, contract kills, sacrament quests, and two cities, Anvil and Kvatch. A new storyline finds the guild on the defensive as they seek to find a black-armored warrior that is tracking down and killing their members.

Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited – Dark Brotherhood detailed

Last week, Bethesda revealed The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s next add-on, Dark Brotherhood. Today, they have followed up with a more detailed rundown of what’s going to be included in the 2,000-crown pack. The assassin guild will unlock a new passive skill line with which players can take out citizens with impunity, protected as they are by the Shadows of Sithis. Located on the Gold Coast, last seen in Oblivion, the Brotherhood will send players on tasks in two new cities, Anvil and Kvatch. There’s danger lurking about, though, in the form of a black-armored warrior who is on the hunt for assassins. Battling him will take players through new story content. Virtual killers for hire will also have access to repeatable bounty quests, contract kill quests, and sacrament quests.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is about to get a new faction, the Dark Brotherhood. A new video has been released showcasing the shadowy assassins that will be included in an upcoming downloadable pack. Assassins will have their own passive skill line, a storyline, and new repeatable quests involving Contracts and the Black Sacrament. Tom Clancy’s The Division – Incursions adds new activities, features

Tom Clancy’s The Division – Incursions, the first of two free updates, has gone live. Players can now take part in Falcon Lost, with player teams helping the Joint Task Force to fight the Last Man Battalion, and timed assignments that offer new rewards. New global events add Dark Zone supply drops of non-contaminated gear that don’t require extraction. Also added is the ability to trade within groups, and see the strength of other agents by a gear score. Several new gear sets will also offer build-based stat perks: Tactician’s Authority (electronics and support), Striker’s Battlegear (assault), Sentry’s Call (marksman), and Path of the Nomad (lone wanderer). Operation ISAC, an in-game weekly video series that offers missions and intel, also debuted earlier today, and will air every Tuesday at 3 a.m. (PT).
