Might & Magic X – Legacy has graduated from Early Access to full release today. The Open Development phase began in August with the first act, and now gamers can trek through the single-player campaign in its entirety. In keeping with the series, players will form a party and venture in and around Karthal, meeting non-playable characters, taking on quests, and battling in turn-based combat.

Modding Kit, more added to Might & Magic X – Legacy Early Access

Gamers who are part of Might & Magic X – Legacy’s Early Access program on Steam will be able to craft their own adventure today with the launch of the official Modding Kit. The included tools, which are part of the game’s second update, allow players to craft maps and mods as well as share their work and access other user-created content. A Maps & Mods tab will be added to the Open Development Blog later this year. An important note is that mapping and modding require Unity Pro, a popular software suite that is known for being beginner friendly and has a free 30-day trial but—and this is a big “but”—thereafter costs a hefty $1,500.

Might & Magic X Legacy now on Steam as Early Access title

Might & Magic X Legacy has become the latest addition to Steam Early Access. Ubisoft has announced that gamers who pre-order the Deluxe Edition, available online through Steam and uPlay, can now play the entire first act of Legacy. By being an Early Access title, players can try the game out and give developer Limbic feedback as they continue to work on the remaining acts. Might & Magic X Legacy announced, teaser and screens released

The role-playing side of Might & Magic will be making its return to the PC with the recently announced Might & Magic X Legacy. It’s been over a decade since the ninth entry was released by 3DO, which was something of a disappointment, to put it mildly. The new adventure, in development at Limbic Entertainment, is set directly after the events of VI, with four adventurers caught in the midst of civil turmoil in the capital city of Karthal.
