Run the Jewels premiers new track in Gears of War 4 Horde 3.0 trailer

Run the Jewels is teaming up with The Coalition to debut their latest track Panther Like a Panther, from their upcoming album Run the Jewels 3, in a new trailer for Gears of War 4. The video spotlights Horde 3.0. The new version will once again have a team of players facing off against waves of increasingly difficult enemies, but now with the addition of abilities, fortifications via a deployable base, and five classes: Engineer, Heavy, Scout, Sniper, and Soldier. Horde 3.0 will be playable at Pax West this weekend, with special guests battling it out in the First to Fifty, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (PDT) in the Pax Arena. Run the Jewels will be on hand, along with series co-creator Rod Fergusson, at Bait on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m., and will appear as characters in multiplayer.

Forza Horizon 3 goes goooooold, Halo fans to get bonus Warthog

Turn 10 Studios has sent word that their open-world racer Forza Horizon 3 has gone gold for PC and Xbox One. Additionally, the studio also released the recommended PC specs, the game’s list of Achievements, and revealed the inclusion of Halo’s Warthog. The M12S Warthog CST will be added at release and sent as a free download to everyone who has played Halo 5 or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Codes will be sent through Xbox Live Message beginning the week of September 5. Racer fans that aren’t into shooters can still get a code by taking part in this October’s #Forzathon event. The recommended specs and Achievement list can be found below, along with an extra shot of the green beast.

Halo 5: Guardians – Anvil’s Legacy DLC, Forge for PC to hit Sept. 8

Halo 5: Forge is set to launch on September 8 for Windows 10. Releasing alongside Forge will be Halo 5: Guardians’ ninth free content update, Anvil’s Legacy. Forge will allow players to create, share, and play on maps for Halo 5, which should be easier with a keyboard and mouse, and will also feature sharper visuals, including support for 4k, the ability to play and host 16-player custom matches, and a new multiplatform content browser. Anvil’s Legacy will also include a streamlined crossover content browser for Forge, plus two new maps (Arena’s Mercy, Warzone’s Temple) and several new REQs. The requisitions will add three weapons, Sound Dampener attachments, and customization options.

Final garage reveal brings 65 cars to Forza Horizon 3

A new week, a new list of the cars set to appear in Forza Horizon 3. This is also the biggest week of reveals as it’s also the last, with the list clocking in at 65 cars. As always, three of them are being highlighted, and they’re an eclectic lot: the 1972 Reliant Supervan III, 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon, and 2015 Alumi Craft Class 10 Race Car. Dead Rising 4 up for pre-order with retail-exclusive, general bonuses

Microsoft has begun to take pre-orders for the standard edition of Dead Rising 4. Series fans will want to take note that getting in early will net them several downloadable packs. Those who go through the Microsoft Store will receive the exclusive X-Fists pack, which gives the EXO Suit a boost to bash through undead hordes. Additionally, players will also receive the goodies offered by other retailers, which will add the Steampunk Snowman Head, Candy Cane Crossbow, and Slicecycle.

Three of those are given their time in the limelight, the 2017 Nissan GT-R, 2016 Aston Martin Vantage GT12, and 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan. 343 Industries releases letter on development plans for Halo Wars 2

343 Industries held an open beta this past June for their upcoming real-time strategy title Halo Wars 2. Today, the studio released a letter detailing what was learned from the feedback sent in during and after the period, and their plans on how they will address several of the reoccurring issues. Quantum Break gets physical PC release, Timeless Collector’s Edition

Nordic is once again partnering with Microsoft for a physical release for PC. Following Ori and the Blind Forest and State of Decay is Remedy’s Quantum Break. Scheduled to launch on September 14, Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition will run $39.99 and come bundled with a fully patched version of the game, making-of Blu-ray, making-of book, soundtrack CD, two A3 posters (one double-sided), and a quickstart guide, all packed in a slip cover. The game itself will come on five discs and require Steam for activation.
