Medal of Honor Warfighter rushes store shelves for console, PC
Danger Close Games’ Medal of Honor Warfighter is now available in stores. As a Tier 1 Operator, players will be able to choose a fighter from one of 10 different Special Forces squads, with the Polish GROM, German KSK, Canadian JTF-2, and U.S. Navy SEAL among those represented. The single-player campaign features hostage rescue missions, an assault on a pirate-held city, and other daring raids as the team attempts to stop the distribution of a deadly chemical. Multiplayer will allow each nation’s operators to battle it out in versus or assist one another in the co-op Fireteams mode.

Pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter, gain entry to Battlefield 4 beta
Electronic Arts announced that gamers who pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition before October 23 will receive a key to access the Battlefield 4 beta. The promo is available for all versions of the game—360, PC, and PS3—and the beta is set to launch in fall 2013. Oh, and Battlefield 4 has been officially announced. Just now.

Medal of Honor Warfighter to go in hot this October
EA has announced that the next entry in the Medal of Honor series, Medal of Honor Warfighter, will launch on October 23. In development at Danger Close Games, Warfighter is a follow-up to 2010′s Medal of Honor reboot and sees the Tier 1 Operatives leaving Afghanistan and taking on assignments around the world. As Tier 1 Operator “Preacher,” players will have to play out missions based on real-life events, such as fighting pirates off the coast of Somalia and rescuing hostages in the Philippines. Warfighter was written by Operatives while deployed overseas, which EA is hoping will help to deliver “an aggressive, gritty and authentic experience that puts gamers in the boots of the world’s most precise and disciplined warriors.”
