The Amazing Spider-Man slings onto store shelves
Beenox is following up last year’s Spider-Man: Edge of Time today with The Amazing Spider-Man. Serving as an epilog to the upcoming film, the Seamus Fahey-penned story follows the webcrawler’s exploits after the films ends as he faces off against Scorpion, Rhino, Black Cat, and other famous reimagined villains. Open-world gameplay and Bruce Campbell return to the series, while new powers, including Web Rush, are introduced into the universe.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gets free DLC today, Heroes & Heralds
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3′s free Heroes & Heralds DLC is now available for the 360 and PS3. The new mode, playable on and offline, pits the Heroes and Heralds factions against one another as the heroes battle Galactus’ heralds to save Earth from annihilation. Fighters are customizable through the use of Ability cards, which affect the combatants’ stats and powers with enhancements ranging from speed boosts to invisibility.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 announced for PS Vita
In addition to announcing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3′s reversible cover, Capcom also revealed that the title will be hitting the PlayStation Vita. The portable version will include the entire roster from the 360 and PS3 version as well as some “additional bonuses.”

Marvel Pinball expanding with Vengeance and Virtue, new launches
Zen Studios has announced the expansion of Marvel Pinball with a new version as well as a host of ports. For the 360 and PS3, the studio currently has Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue in development. The four-table pack will debut with Ghost Rider as the first hero out when the set hits Live and PSN this winter. And for those who have been itching to give Marvel Pinball a try but don’t have a 360 or PS3, good news! Zen plans on launching the title on Android and iOS devices, as well as the 3DS, PC, PS Vita, and WiiU by the end of 2012.
