The upcoming Mega Man compilation, Mega Man Legacy Collection, has been officially dated for August 25. Save for the 3DS version, that is, which is slated for an early 2016 release. Gamers who prefer physical copies should be glad to hear that Capcom plans on releasing the 3DS, PS4, and Xbox One versions in stores early next year as well. Boxed copies will cost a bit more, however, running $29.99 instead of $14.99. Details about the 3DS and physical versions should be coming along in the near future. Regardless of the format, all sets will include the first six Mega Man games along with a new Challenge Mode, which features remixed segments from all games with scaling difficulty, and a Museum with hundreds of unlockable songs as well as high-res scans of concept sketches, production art, and unused designs.
