The King of Fighter XIV’s newest members are getting their debut trailer today as Team Official Invitation. Each was personally invited by the host of the tournament, the billionaire Antonov. Sylvie is a slightly unhinged ex-member of NEST, modified to utilize electrical attacks during fights. Kukri is a mysterious hooded fighter who is capable of wielding sand. Rounding out the trio is Mian, a practitioner of face-changing who is capable “of graceful and vigorous dance moves.” To check out their competition, check out the trailers for Team Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Kim, and Villains.

The King of Fighters series returns to the handheld world today with the release of The King of Fighters-i for the iPhone, iPod touch, and—not designed for but tested and compatible with—iPad. The $7.99 Game Center-compatible fighter features 14 combatants, including the return of Billy Kane, Bluetooth local wireless play, ability to send/receive replay data, My Card gamer profile cards, and a Gallery mode with tradable art cards. The four main modes include Team Battle, Single Battle, Training, and the Endless endurance challenge.
