The first pack from Just Cause 3’s Air, Land, and Sea Expansion Pass, Sky Fortress, is now available for all players. The drop contains a new set of missions that revolve around a new enemy, the eDEN Corporation. Based out of their Sky Fortress, the corporation commands an army of robotic drones that need to be tackled before the leaders can be brought down. Rico has access to several new weapons to handle the threat, including a new upgradeable, rocket-powered Bavarium Wingsuit that sports machine guns and missiles, a Bavarium Splitter assault rifle, and the new Eviction defense drone.
Avalanche Studios’ latest open-world explosionfest Just Cause 3 is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Square Enix-published title continues the series’ tradition of pitting players against a ruthless dictator, in this case General Di Ravell of Medici. As Rico Rodriguez, players are tasked with causing as much mayhem as possible in the republic’s 400 square miles in order to topple the regime. A gameplay trailer below offers a sample of the over-the-top action, while the launch trailer and some new screens have also been posted.
Avalanche has released some new gameplay footage from Just Cause 3. The video features protagonist Rico Rodriguez blowing anything and everything he comes across on Medici island in his war against General Di Ravello. The end of the trailer features a glimpse at the Weaponised Vehicle Pack, a free pre-order download pack that adds three luxury vehicles.
Avalanche Studios’ Just Cause is set to return next year for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in Just Cause 3. As with its predecessors, players will be able to explore a large open-world environment as they wreak havoc on anything and everything. The only details released include the return of the grapple and parachute, the introduction of the new wingsuit, and the setting of a Mediterranean archipelago. Game Informer will be running a feature revealing more in their December issue.
The plane-riding, enemy-grappling action shooter Just Cause 2 is now available as a new collection on the PS Store. Titled Just Cause 2: Ultimate Edition, the $29.99 download-only release includes the original game, both DLC packs, and eight additional in-game items. The standard edition is also available for $24.99.
