Developer- and Publisher-specific Articles: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
CyberConnect2′s upcoming fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will be going for sale on April 29. As previously announced, the game will be available digitally and as a limited boxed version sold only through Amazon and Club Namco. For those wanting to pre-order, it was also revealed today that both outlets are each offering their own unique bonus in the form of a downloadable character. Club Namco has the salesman-turned-killer Yoshikage Kira, while Amazon is offering the portly trickster Shigekiyo Yangu.
Namco Bandai has some good news for fans of fighting games, and that’s a retail release and new mode for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle. The CyberConnect2-developed fighter, released last August in Japan, will be launching later this year online for download and to purchase on disc. The PS3 exclusive will be available to download through PSN and also in limited availability in physical format through Amazon.com and ClubNamco.com. The Western release will include not only post-release balance tweaks but also a new mode, Arcade, which adds an eight-player tournament.
CyberConnect2’s one-on-one fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will be launching next year in North America for PS3, according to publisher Namco Bandai. Based off of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga, the upcoming brawler will feature a Story Mode, local and online Versus, and a roster filled with characters from all eight story arcs. Each character will utilize one of five Battle Styles and have access to an array of unique special moves.
