Ultimate Speed Pack announced for Need for Speed Most Wanted
EA has announced the first DLC drop for Need for Speed Most Wanted, the Ultimate Speed Pack. Set to launch on December 18, the $9.99/800 MS Point download will include five new cars, the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse; 25 new events; and a new rival, the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder. Seventy new speed-themed milestones will also be added to multiplayer.

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile launches for iOS on App Store
Capcom’s latest console crossover fighter has landed on the App Store today with the launch of Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile. Available for a limited-time promotional price of $2.99, SFxT Mobile features redesigned controls, 10 fighters, the new Gauntlet Mode survival mode, and multiplayer versus over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Global rankings are also available through Game Center.

Marvel’s The Avengers pinball launches for Zen Pinball line
Just because the credits have rolled doesn’t mean that The Avengers can hang up their spandex. Zen Studios is calling them back to action with the launch of the in-app DLC pinball table Marvel’s The Avengers for Zen Pinball for iOS, Zen Pinball 2 for OS X, and Zen Pinball THD for Android?. The $1.99 download, $2.99 for the OS X version, is designed to follow the film’s storyline with all of the Avengers joining the battle against Loki’s invading forces.

Demons’ Score reveals its weird rocking ways with new video
Square Enix has released a nearly nine-minute video for their upcoming rhythm-based action title for Android and iOS devices, Demons’ Score. The footage offers gamers a chance to get a peek at the possessed heroine Serenity and her mighty tapping powers (and strange familiar) in the game’s opening cinematic and tutorial.

Drakerider launches on App Store with free first chapter
Square Enix has launched a new role-playing game for iOS, Witchcraft Inc.’s Drakerider. The first chapter is available free, with the remaining four chapters running $6.99 each, and introduces players to Aran Lawson and his dragon, Eckhardt. The duo set out on a quest to save the world of Ingraine from an evil spirit known as the Dread. But in the end, does one really need a reason to ride around on a battle dragon?

Final Fantasy Dimensions launches on App Store with free Prologue
Square Enix is harkening back to Final Fantasy’s 8- and 16-bit days today with the launch of Final Fantasy Dimensions for iOS. The first chapter in the new episodic saga, Prologue, is a free download that introduces players to the tale of the Avalonian Empire’s quest for peace and the world’s subsequent descent into darkness. Dimension features the return of job-based classes, as well as a sliding control pad and new work from composer Naoshi Mizuta.

SolaRola launches for Android, iOS
SolaRola, a new physics-based puzzle-platformer, is now available for Android and iOS devices. The Square Enix-published release has been re-imagined for mobile devices with new graphics, a new storyline, and a refined touch-and-tilt control scheme. As Wiz and Waz, players must make their way through maze-filled planets by bouncing around obstacles, including rocks and bombs, and deadly creatures to save the universe’s four guardians from Ping the Unmerciless.

NIS gets educational with Character Chowdown for iOS
NIS will be bringing the younger doods and doodettes into the fold shortly with the release of their educational iOS puzzle game Character Chowdown. Developed in conjunction with Yummy Yummy Tummy, Character Chowdown will help players learn Asian language sets by using a variety of colorful characters in conjunction with memory-recall-style play, as well as tailor lessons so that users will receive extra practice with the words giving them the most trouble.
