Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier bumped to June 26 for PC
It seems the troops were held up in processing. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was originally scheduled to launch on June 12 for PC, but the release has been pushed back a touch to June 26. The PC version is said to boast a host of graphical improvements, including better lighting, soft shadows, volumetric lighting effects, and it’s also slated to receive a Windows XP compatibility patch “shortly after release.”

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier available for 360, PS3
The ghosts are back today with the release of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for the 360 and PS3. Developed by a triumvirate of Ubisoft studios—Paris, Red Storm, and Romania—Future Soldier once against puts players in the boots of a globetrotting special ops soldier whose squad finds itself in the world’s most dangerous hotspots. The troops have access to an arsenal of high-tech gadgetry and weaponry, as well as downloadable player-customized weapons for those moments when the standard assault rifle just won’t do.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II launches, mobile release dated
Sonic continues his fourth episode today with the launch of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II on PSN and Steam, and will be spin dashing onto Live Arcade tomorrow. The 1200 MS Point/$14.99 adventure will see Sonic and Tales battling old foes Doctor Robotnik and Metal Sonic. As a bonus, gamers who own both Episode I and II on the same platform will unlock the extra Metal Sonic addition, Episode Metal. Metal Sonic’s portion is comprised of four reworked acts from Episode I and details how he survived the end of Sonic CD.

Wolfenstein 3D turns 20, id celebrates with free iOS, web versions
Wolfenstein 3D has turned 20! And I feel old! To properly celebrate the venerable series’ birthday, Bethesda and id have launched a new version of the original as a free-to-play browser-based game. Gamers can head to wolfenstein.bethsoft.com or Facebook.com – Wolfenstein and give Hitler an updated what for. But wait – that’s not all! The second release in the Victorian Mysteries series, Woman in White is available for $0.99 (iPhone/iPod touch) and $2.99 (iPad HD).
