Following yesterday’s launch trailer reveal, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage has been released for PS4. Sabotage adds four new multiplayer maps, one of which is a remake of Modern Warfare 2’s Afghan, along with a ‘90s-themed Zombies episode. The latter will find players stuck at an abandoned lakeside summer camp in Rave in the Redwoods. Details for the new maps can be found below.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage trailer goes live

Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s upcoming downloadable pack, Sabotage. As a heads up, the drop debuts tomorrow on PSN for PS4. Players will gain access to four maps, Neon, Noir, Renaissance, and a remake of the Modern Warfare 2 map Afghan, Dominion. Zombies is also receiving a ‘90s-themed addition, Rave in the Redwoods, with director Willard Wyler recasting the original crew in new roles.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage hitting PSN on January 31

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s first downloadable pack, Sabotage, will debut for PS4 on January 31. The Infinity Ward-developed drop will include four multiplayer maps: Dominion, Neon, Noir, and Renaissance. Dominion is a remake of the Modern Warfare 2 map Afghan, now set on Mars. The download will also include a ‘90s-themed Zombies co-op mode, Rave in the Redwoods, with director Willard Wyler recasting the original crew in new roles.

Call of Duty remains #1 selling console franchise for eighth year

Call of Duty is the #1 top-selling console game franchise in North America, according to Activision. The series continues its run, recently marking its eighth consecutive year. Additionally, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the #1 console video game in the United States, based on year-to-date revenues from physical unit sales, and, also based on revenue from physical unit sales, the #1 top-selling console title for November. Infinite Warfare isn’t selling as much as Black Ops 3, but the publisher has high expectations given the latter’s high retention, due to a paced schedule of downloadable content, which is also planned for Infinite Warfare as well Modern Warfare Remastered.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been released for console and PC. Infinite Warfare marks the first time that the series takes the campaign into the stars with a storyline that is set throughout the solar system. As Captain Reyes, a member of Tier 1 Special Operations, players must lead one of the few remaining warships fighting for Earth against an insurgent force. That means taking part in not only ground-based operations but also dog fights in zero gravity. Players who grab the Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions will also be able to relive old adventures with the included Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The undead also return with the four-player Zombies in Spaceland, which features an amusement park setting along with a new crafting system, weapons, and eSport-integration features. Multiplayer also adds new mech suits, known as combat rigs, that are design for specific combat roles but customizable with upgrades. A crafting system has also been added to multiplayer, which uses earnable Salvage to create Prototype weapons with unique designs and Gun Perks, while Mission Teams allows players to unlock more rewards. Lastly, PS VR owners can try some immersive dogfighting with the free Jackal Assault.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta begins at noon for PS4

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta kicks off today for PS4. Players can log in at noon (CST) to try out several new additions over Domination, Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch, and the recently added Defender. They can also experience the Combat Rigs, which allows them to tailor their position on the team by donning a suit specific to a particular combat role. Three of the six are in the beta—Warfighter, Merc, and Synaptic—along with their Payload powers and passive Traits. Three maps are also included, along with two of the four Mission Teams, the latter allowing players to unlock camos, emblems, and other goodies by completing tasks assigned by team commanders.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s upcoming multiplayer beta detailed

Activision has released new details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta. Set to begin on Friday, October 14 at noon (CST) for PS4, the event will feature several of the latest additions. One of the biggest, Combat Rigs, will allow players to outfit themselves in suits that serve different combat roles. These can be changed mid-match, and three of the six are planned to be playable: Warfighter, Merc, and Synaptic. Each can be equipped with an active Payload and a passive Trait, with a total of three each unlockable during play. A rundown of each rig’s capabilities can be found here. The beta will also include two of the four Mission Teams, which will reward players with experience when they complete assignments given by their team’s commander. Attaining new levels will unlock camos, emblems, team-specific prototype weapons, and more.

Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign playable for PS4 pre-orders

Beginning today, PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered the Legacy or Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare can get an early start on Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign. The latest version features, among other improvements, 1080p, updated textures, high-dynamic range lighting, and physically based rendering. Everyone else will have to wait to play until the game’s official launch on November 4.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launch trailer up

Longtime Call of Duty fans are getting a better look at Modern Warfare Remastered. The launch trailer, released today, runs just over two minutes and builds on the previously revealed footage that’s trickled out since the game’s announcement. Though no direct gameplay is shown, the footage does feature many of the more memorable cinematic sequences. For those who are itching to go back in time, it was also announced that anyone who pre-orders the Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition for PS4 will be able to play Modern Warfare Remastered’ campaign 30 days early, starting on October 5.
