Aksys to bring Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~ stateside in 2017

Idea Factory’s visual novel Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~ will be coming to North America next spring for PS Vita. Aksys Games has taken on publishing duties, and is currently localizing the title. After the disappearance of their brother, players begin their search for clues by joining an online role-playing game called Arcadia. Players quickly find themselves caught in the virtual world with their only hope of escape being to beat the game. The 30-plus-hour story will feature branching paths that lead to multiple endings.

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs Zombies hitting Steam this fall

Neputinia’s horror-themed spin-off, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs Zombies, will be launching this fall on Steam. An undead horde has invaded Gamicademi Academy after Blanc’s attempt to spark interest in the school by filming a zombie movie on campus ends up attracting real zombies. As these things tend to go. Players can clear the grounds solo or with up to three others online, and online crews can also take on daily multiplayer quests.

New Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force screenshots posted

Idea Factory has released a new set of screens from their upcoming role-playing game Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force. Set to release next week, the game presents players several storylines to follow, with one for the Vile God path and the other for the Evil Goddess. The path chosen is determined by how many swords are drawn from them, while a third storyline is unlocked by the Goddess. Players take on the role of Fang, a fencer on a mission to collect Furies, powerful weapons created by the gods, in the midst of an ongoing war between the factions.

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs Zombies out now for PS Vita

The hack-and-slash Neputinia spin-off, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs Zombies, is now available for PS Vita. In the new adventure, co-developed by Tamsoft and Compile Heart, players must wipe out a host of undead at Gamicademi Academy. To get attendance back up at the school, Blanc and others decide to drum up interest by filming a zombie movie on the campus, but as it tends to happen, they end up attracting actual zombies. Players can go through the game alone or with up to three others online, and digital squads can also tackle daily multiplayer quests.

PS Vita to get dungeon-crawler MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death this fall

A new first-person dungeon crawler has been announced for PS Vita, MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death. Slated to launch this fall, the PlayStation TV-enabled role-playing game from Idea Factory and Compile Heart will be available digitally and physically. As a Machina Mage, players are sent on a mission to get the planets moving again by investigating four maze-like towers alongside customizable mechanical Guardians.

Megadimension Neptunia VII heading to Steam this summer

Idea Factory will be bringing Megadimension Neptunia VII to Steam later this summer. Currently available for PS4, the PC version will include the original Japanese voiceover track as well as all of the downloadable content. Players must guide Neptune and Nepgear as they assist the Zero Dimension’s remaining CPU Uzume Tennouboshi in her battle against the world’s Dark CPU. The game features three worlds along with three different storylines, a new transformation mode, a new dungeon minigame, and a revamped battle system.

Neptune and Nepgear return today in a new adventure for PS4, Megadimension Neptunia­ VII. Players will guide the duo after they are transported to Zero Dimension, a world that is nearing its end, and help the remaining CPU Uzume Tennouboshi in its battle against the Dark CPU. The game features three worlds along with three different storylines, a new transformation mode, a new dungeon minigame, and a revamped battle system. Fairy Fencer F hitting Steam for Windows PC next Tuesday

The PlayStation 3 role-playing game Fairy Fencer F is making its way to PC next week. Scheduled to launch on August 4 via Steam, the PC version will feature a resolution bump up to 1080p and two free DLC packs, Beginner’s Pack and Secrets of Shukesoo’s Tower Pack. The story remains the same, however, as players take charge of Fang, a young man who saves the Fencer Tiara and ends up getting dragged into an ongoing war between the Goddess and the Vile God.
