Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi announced for 3DS
Aksys Games is preparing a new visual novel/otome release for 3DS, Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi. The Idea Factory-developed title follows Chizuru as she travels to Kyoto in search for her father. Along the way, she encounters a mysterious band of samurai who are also also looking for him. Together, the group must make their way through Japan while avoiding the battling shogun and imperial forces as well as strange supernatural phenomena. As it’s a relationship sim, players will forge bonds with their new allies through six new stories.

Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection now on PSN
NIS has launched a new strategy-RPG on PSN today, Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection. The Idea Factory-developed PSP, PS Vita release follows alchemist Claude and Yuri, his cursed sister, as they travel the lands of Hades in search of a cure. Multiple endings, an alchemy-based upgrade system, and a quasi-turn-based, time-centric combat system await those who take up their cause.

Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi announced for PSP
It seems that the PSP still has some life left in it. Aksys Games has announced a follow-up to last year’s Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi. The hack-and-slash action title from developer Idea Factory features Saito and the rest of the main characters battling through an alternate storyline that will see them strike out on a new path or relive past exploits. The six warriors will also now be able to engage a Fury Mode, a state of pure rage that can clear out hordes of enemies but also lead to a bad ending if abused.

Record of Agarest War 2 launches for PS3 in stores, on PSN
The latest in the Record of the Agarest War saga is now available in stores and online with the launch of Record of Agarest War 2 for PS3. The strategy-RPG, co-developed by Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Red, and localized by Aksys Games, is available on PSN as well as a Standard Edition and Limited Edition in retail.

PlayStation 3 gamers looking to scratch that strategy-RPG itch will be able to get their fix soon, courtesy of Aksys Games and Record of Agarest War 2.
