Boxed version of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition now in stores

The retail version of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for PC has landed on store shelves. The digital version was released early last month, and now gamers who prefer the physical route can try the High Voltage Software-adapted release. The Komplete Edition includes all of the DLC previously released for the 360 and PS3 versions: four character packs (Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and Freddy Krueger), 15 Klassic Skins, and three Klassic Fatalities (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile). Multiplayer features one-on-one combat and King of the Hill Mode, and gamepads are also supported, including the Tournament Edition Fight Stick.

Available through Steam and other digital outlets, and starting August 6 in select retailers, the High Voltage Software-adapted Komplete Edition includes all of the DLC previously released for the 360 and PS3 versions. The full set of add-ons includes four character packs (Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and Freddy Krueger), 15 Klassic Skins, and three Klassic Fatalities (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile). Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that they will be published Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for PC later this summer. Set for a digital release on July 3 and retail release on August 6, the High Voltage Software-ported Komplete Edition will include the original game as well as all available DLC. The post-launch packs added four new fighters (Freddy Krueger, Kenshi, Rain, and Skarlet), 15 Klassic Skins, and three Klassic Fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero.
