Hard Reset gets Survival Mode, new maps with 1.2 patch

Flying Wild Hog’s sci-fi-themed first-person shooter Hard Reset received a major update today with the release of patch 1.2. In addition to adding support for Nvidia 3D Vision Surround and multiple displays, 1.2 also brings with it a host of tweaks and the new Survival Mode. The horde-esque mode includes two new maps and leaderboard support.

Hard Reset – release date announced, screens released

Hard Reset, the sci-fi first-person shooter announced last month for PC, is scheduled to launch on Steam on September 13. The $29.99 shooter is the first from Polish developer Flying Wild Hog, a new studio comprised of People Can Fly, CD Projekt RED, and City Interactive veterans. Action fans wanting to snag it at a discount can preorder the title now and save 10%.

Flying Wild Hog reveals debut title, first-person shooter Hard Reset

Poland-based Flying Wild Hog, a new studio comprised of People Can Fly, CD Projekt RED, and City Interactive alumni, revealed their upcoming first-person shooter Hard Reset today. The PC exclusive, set to come out this September, takes place in a dystopian future where man has been pushed back to its last standing city, Bezoar. As Major Fletcher of the CLN, players must not only contend with the masses of robots roaming the land but also a new conflict that threatens the existence of the remaining survivors.
