Sine Mora EX hitting PC, PS4, Xbox One on August 8

Sine Mora will be returning soon in a new, extended form. Sine Mora EX be bringing its time-traveling, shoot-em-up action to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 8. Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play it “later this summer.” The EX version features 16:9, as opposed to the original’s 16:10, full English dialog along with the original Hungarian, a story mode, local two-player co-op, improved rendering, new challenge levels, and three additional modes (Dodgeball, Race, and Tanks). PC and PS4 Pro versions will also run natively in 4k at 60 frames per second.

NIS releases patch for PS4 version of The Silver Case

A patch for The Silver Case has gone live on PSN that addresses an issue with two post-game scenarios. After installing the patch, players will be able to access Yami and White Out Prologue once they complete the game. Another problem with cinematics displaying black or fuzzy screens is being investigated, but the studio suggests a workaround that requires setting the system’s language to English or English UK. All applications in use must be closed before changing the language. More info on a fix should be coming along in the near future.

NIS releases visual-novel-style adventure The Silver Case for PS4

Suda51’s visual novel The Silver Case returns today, courtesy of NIS. The HD remake updates the crime thriller with enhanced visuals and extra content. Initially released in 1999, the game tasks players with tracking down a killer that is behind a series of strange murders. Finding them will involve using point-and-click adventure-style mechanics.

THQ Nordic announces Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Sine Mora EX for NS

THQ Nordic has announced two new titles for Nintendo Switch. The studio will be publishing both this summer, with the role-playing game Battle Chasers: Nightwar hitting later this summer or early fall for $29.99, and the time-bending side-scrolling shooter Sine Mora EX this summer for $19.99. The latter will be expanded with additional challenges, three new modes (Race, Tanks, Dodgeball), and 4K support for PC and PS4 Pro. Trailers and screenshots for both have been posted below.

Visual novel The Silver Case launching for PS4 on April 21

NIS has announced that they will be releasing Suda 51’s police procedural visual novel, The Silver Case, on April 21 for PS4. The physical and digital release is also being offered as a limited edition exclusively on NIS’ Online Store. The special version includes a manga, soundtrack, poster, hardcover art book, and collector’s box for $49.99.

NIS bringing Suda51’s debut visual novel The Silver Case to PS4

NIS has teamed up with Grasshopper Manufacture and Active to release the visual novel The Silver Case for PS4. Suda51’s debut title follows the detectives of the 24 Wards Heinous Crimes Unit’s Republic squad as they track down a mysterious serial killer, the legendary assassin Kamui Uehara. The first-person thriller is receiving the HD treatment for its console debut, and is set to launch digitally and physically in early 2017.

Let it Die has officially been announced by GungHo Online Entertainment. Previously known as Lily Bergamo, Let it Die is a gory action-survival title that was unveiled during Sony’s press conference and is currently in development at Grasshopper Manufacture. Sine Mora launches for iOS, available soon for Android

Sine Mora, the time-jumping side-scrolling shooter from Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture, is available for iOS and will soon launch for Android. Ported by Pocket Scientists, the mobile versions feature the same strange characters and storyline that has made the current releases such standouts in the genre. As one of several anthropomorphic pilots, players must take down enemies and avoid getting hit in order to store up enough time to see each chapter through to its end.

Black Knight Sword to launch on Live Arcade later this month
