GTA Online adds Stunt Race Creator, Entourage Adversary Mode

GTA Online’s creator tool is expanding today with the addition of Stunt Race Creator. The kit allows players to add stunt courses throughout Los Santos and Blaine County, with mode options for GTA, Rally, Non-Contact Stunt Races, and Standard. A trailer for Stunt Race Creator has been posted below, and a how-to guide for it here. Tracks can be created with tools for snapping and stacking objects, splitting checkpoints, and adding loops, tubes, raised tracks, and such hazards as flaming rings. To spice things up, there are over 250 new Stunt Props. Additionally, a new Adversary Mode, Entourage, tasks bodyguards with extracting a target to an extraction point. The additions kick off a week of bonuses. Players will earn double GTA$ and RP by playing the Entourage Playlist, beginning today until August 12, along with 25% off Cunning Stunts tattoos and clothing.

GTA Online will be kicking off a week of festivities on Tuesday, May 3, with In And Out Week for GTA Online. To celebrate the release of the new Adversary mode, players will receive double GTA$ and RP from certain Adversary playlists. There will also be discounts of up to 50% on guns, explosives, ammo, and weapon mods. A playlist rundown and a discount breakdown can be found below.

GTA Online getting new adversary mode on April 12, bonuses all week

GTA Online will be receiving new content in an update scheduled to go live on April 12. In addition to the Vapid Minivan, the patch will also add Inch By Inch Adversary Mode. Inch By Inch pits teams against one another for the possession of a package that they must take back to their end zone. Carriers cannot use weapons, but to compensate, they get a burst of speed to help dodge incoming fire. All this week, players will receive a set of bonuses—double GTA$ & RP—for select Adversary Mode playlists as well as a discount at Ammu-Nation. The playlist schedule for the bonuses is listed below.

GTA Online Lowriders: Custom Classics up, adds rides and more

The Lowriders: Custom Classics update has gone live for GTA Online. The download expands the number of Lowriders stocked at Benny’s Original Motor Works, adds new weapons at Ammu-Nation, and increases the amount of clothes and accessories. Some of the additions include two upgradeable muscle cars—Vapid Slamvan and Dundreary Virgo Classic—Compact Rifle, Double Barrel Shotgun, 16 tattoo designs, and three hairstyles. Sumo Adversary Mode has also been added, pitting solo players or a team against others in an attempt to force one side out of a marked area.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories launches for Android

Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for Android. As with last December’s iOS release, the Android version features upgraded real-time lighting and shadows, textures, art, and draw distance. Performance has also been improved for touch controls with analog steering and rebalanced targeting. Saves are also cross-platform compatible through Social Club. A release-window promotion is also going on until February 24, with gamers capable of purchasing the game for Android and iOS for $3.99. For Grand Theft Auto Online players, logging into Liberty City Stories and then Social Club will unlock an I Heart LC shirt for GTA.

A new trailer has gone live for Grand Theft Auto Online’s upcoming update Executives and Other Criminals. The free add-on will feature customizable apartments and stilt houses in Vinewood Hills, the Super Yacht, and new modes that allow players to run their own crime ring. In Freemode, players who head their own operation will be able to take on new challenges and co-op jobs, access special abilities, hire and fire other players as bodyguards, and battle other organizations. Those who take on the role of bodyguard will receive payment in the form of RP, GTA$, and stat boosts. Organizations that go to war will be able to access new missions as well as armored vehicles variants , such as the Turreted Limo. A few Freemode Events will work when played by organizations, including King of the Hill and Moving Target, along with the new Extraction Adversary Mode, which has bodyguards search wreckage for an Executive before they’re found by a Hit Squad.

GTA Online gets new Football-themed Adversary Mode, Running Back

Rockstar has added a new Adversary Mode to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of GTA Online. The latest addition, Running Back, pits two teams of 2 to 4 players in a race to get one side’s Runner to the end zone in their Benefactor Panto aided by their teammates in BF Biftas. The opposing team, also in BF Biftas, must block the Runner by crashing and smashing into the opposing team. The mode is playable in three areas: La Mesa Bridge, Raton Canyon Bridge, and Zancudo Tunnel. Rockstar will be demonstrating Running Back the mode later today, at 4 p.m. (CST), on Twitch and YouTube.

GTAV’s Rockstar Editor coming to PS4, Xbox One, plus Online update

Rockstar will be adding Rockstar Editor to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online with next month’s update. The update will also add features that will be available for the PC version, including new font styles, the ability to copy and paste audio markers, Snapmatic integration, access to an ambient audio and sound effects library, and extra Director Mode options. Director Mode will receive an enlarged minimap with blips marking preset locations, the ability to spawn air and water vehicles, and the option to freeze time-of-day settings. GTA Online’s Freemode will also be receiving some new gameplay content, though specifics won’t be revealed until later.

Grand Theft Auto Online gets Title Update, The Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2

The second part of the The Ill-Gotten Gains Update is now available for all versions of Grand Theft Auto Online. The download adds new vehicles, weapons, clothes, and music. Some of the new additions include the Coil Brawler luxury sports-styled off-roader, Dinka Vindicator motorcycle, Lampadati Toro speedboat, wood-finished Marksman Pistol, solid gold Knuckle Dusters, and the iFruit Snap Watch. The Lab, a new station, is on all console versions and features hosts Dr. No and the Chemical Bro. playing new music from The Alchemist and Oh No, along with several guest appearances, that is inspired by their tracks on the original score. The download also includes a Title Update, to 1.28, which includes general improvements and fixes as well as the ability to create custom Jobs at the airport and military base. PC gamers are finally getting their chance to explore Los Santos today with the release of Grand Theft Auto V. The PC version features support for 4k and 60 frames per second, 3D, dual- and triple-monitor setups, controllers, and has 25-plus graphical customization options. Grand Theft Auto is also live, complete with all of the previous updates as well as the new Heists and Adversary Modes. Console gamers making the switch can transfer their GTAO characters to the PC version.
