Activision has kicked off a free weekend for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer mode. Currently, PC gamers can download the component for free off of Steam and play as much as they want through Sunday, February 26. Ghost Recon’s Wildlands open beta highlighted in new trailer

Ghost Recon’s Wildlands’ open beta is scheduled to kick off on February 23, and today, Ubisoft has released a new video detailing the event. The beta will run through February 27 and allow players to join a squad to fight against the Santa Blanca cartel in an open world. Additional details can be found at UbiBlog, and a live-action video is set to air on Ubisoft’s Twitch channel today at 4 p.m. (CST).

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege kicks off Year 2 tomorrow

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s debut free update for Year 2, Operation Velvet Shell, is set to go live tomorrow for Season Pass holders. Non-holders can download it on February 14. Console and PC players will be able to access a new map, Coastline, located on the seashore of Ibiza, as two new Spanish operators from the Grupo Especial de Operaciones: Mira and Jackal. Mira is armed with the Vector 45 ACP and ITA12L and specializes in ballistics protection, allowing her to detect weak spots on machinery to reinforce it. Jackal can quickly spot irregularities and totes a C7E and a PDW9.

Titanfall 2’s Live Fire mode debuted in gameplay trailer

Titanfall 2 players can get a look at the upcoming Live Fire mode in a new trailer. The footage debuts the speedy, close-combat-centric six-versus-six Pilot mode. It will be bundled along with two new maps, Stacks and Meadow, as a free download.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage now available for PS4

Following yesterday’s launch trailer reveal, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage has been released for PS4. Sabotage adds four new multiplayer maps, one of which is a remake of Modern Warfare 2’s Afghan, along with a ‘90s-themed Zombies episode. The latter will find players stuck at an abandoned lakeside summer camp in Rave in the Redwoods. Details for the new maps can be found below.

Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s upcoming downloadable pack, Sabotage. As a heads up, the drop debuts tomorrow on PSN for PS4. Players will gain access to four maps, Neon, Noir, Renaissance, and a remake of the Modern Warfare 2 map Afghan, Dominion. Zombies is also receiving a ‘90s-themed addition, Rave in the Redwoods, with director Willard Wyler recasting the original crew in new roles.

Bethesda to launch Arkane’s Prey on May 5 for console, PC

The upcoming re-imagined version of Prey is set to be released on May 5 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Gamers who pre-order will receive several digital extras at launch in the Cosmonaut Shotgun Pack. The set will include the family heirloom Margrave shotgun along with several tools: three neuromods to acquire new abilities, two medkits, a Fabrication plan to create the shotgun and ammo, a starter kit for building tools and weapons, and a upgrade to help preserve resources. Developed by Dishonored creator Arkane Studios, the new version finds players waking up in 2032 on the space station Talos I. Not only have aliens invaded the facilities, but players have been the subject of strange experiments and have no memory of recent events.

Dishonored 2 update adds custom difficulty settings, mission select

Arkane Studios has released the second free update for Dishonored 2. The latest download adds two new features: Custom Difficulty Settings and Mission Select. The former adds over 20 sliders for players to customize their game, adjusting everything from the number of enemies who will attack simultaneously to the speed of sleep darts. It will also add Iron Mode, which features permadeath and no manual saves. Mission Select allows for any mission to be unlocked once played, with the player’s status retained from the playthrough. The patch is available for all versions.
