Quake Champions upcoming Burial Chamber Arena revealed

Bethesda is offering a quick look at one of the upcoming Arenas for Quake Champions. Burial Chamber is a gothic-styled area with platforms, lava pools, tight corridors, and a handful of open spaces. Its numerous environmental hazards ensure that players have to keep an eye out on their footing, mindful of the flowing lava, in addition to enemy fire. Check out the reveal trailer below. Modern Warfare Remastered – Variety Map Pack launches for PS4

Destiny – Age of Triumph final livestream event this Wednesday

Bungie’s final livestream event for the last round of content for Destiny has been scheduled for this Wednesday, March 22. Beginning at noon, the studio’s Twitch channel will host 3D character artist Ian McIntosh and senior gameplay designer Josh Hamrick for the Sandbox Update livestream. Players don’t have long to wait now, as Age of Triumph is scheduled to go live on March 28.

Typhon Research Team looks at Prey’s alien invaders in new trailer

The aliens that have overrun Talos I are featured in a new trailer for Prey. The instructive video, titled Typhon Research, comes from the owners of the station, TranStar Corporation. The business opened their vaults to the Typhon Research Team’s work in order to help the sole survivor, Morgan Yu, save the station. Footage demonstrates the mimic’s ability to take the form of inanimate objects, the phantom’s power to summon and launch projectiles, and the telepath’s control over weaker organisms.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Raven is getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with a new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The promo is currently ongoing and features a free themed map, Daybreak, a modified version of Downpour, which also has in-game challenges to earn the holiday-styled weapon camo Folium. Players also receive a free weekly Supply Drop by logging in. Other themed goodies include calling cards, camos, emblems, reticles, and an unlockable playable character, Darren “Graves” Cosgrave. The event, further detailed on Activision’s blog, will end at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on April 3.

Destiny – Age of Triumph second reveal livestream this Wednesday

Bungie will be hosting their second livestream for Age of Triumph on Wednesday. Beginning at noon (CST) on March 15, players will be able to see more of the final update for Destiny 1 in Rituals and Strikes. The event will be hosted by senior designers Tim Williams and Joe Sifferman on the studio’s Twitch channel. Age of Triumph is set to go live on March 28.

Quake Champions getting a version of Quake III’s Camping Grounds

A new trailer and handful of screenshots offer a first look at Quake Champions’ upcoming take on The Camping Grounds, Blood Covenant. Fans of the series will remember the original level from Quake III Arena, Q3DM6. The new version is said to retain several sections, namely “the long Jump Pad to the Rocket Launcher, the Quad Damage spawn, the Railgun ledge, and the tightly spaced battles in the Pillars.” Newer bits take into account the active and passive abilities available in Champions. PAX East attendees can drop by Bethesda’s booth (#18007 and 20007) to try it out.

CI Games pushing Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 back to late April

CI Games has announced that they have delayed their open-world action title Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. Gamers don’t have to wait much longer, though, as the new date is only three weeks later, April 25. According to the release, the additional time will be used to implement feedback received during the last beta. Currently, the game features weapon customization, vehicles, dynamic weather, and a day-and-night cycle.

Nightdive bringing Turok 2: Seeds of Evil to PC on March 16

Nightdive Studios is revisiting Turok next month with the PC release of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. The sequel, set to go live on March 16, once again follows the warrior Turok as he jumps, swims, and blasts his way through new enemies and levels, now in a futuristic setting. The original Nintendo 64 release is being improved with updated visuals and a new multiplayer mode, Last Turok Standing.
