Battlefield 1: Revolution bundle out for console, PC

Battlefield 1: Revolution is now available. The all-in-one bundle contains the base game as well as the four themed packs from the Premium Pass. Only the first of those packs is available, however. The remaining will be downloadable as they are released, with the next, In the Name of the Tsar, slated for early September. The first map from it, Lupkow Pass, went live today. The game’s next competitive mode, the five-versus-five Incursions, is also progressing. The released note that it is “being developed in collaboration with players, and optimized for competition,” and will enter closed alpha early next month. The alpha will take place on a modified version of Giant’s Shadow, and offer players access to eight different kits (Trench Surgeon, Control Leader, AT Assault, Battle Mechanic, Mortar Support, Raid Leader, Shock Assault, Proximity Recon) along with performance-based loadouts. Prey trial out for PC, console demo now trial to carry over progress

PC gamers can now try their hand at surviving the alien infestation on Talos I. The release of the PC trial also marks a shift for the console demo, which is itself now a trial, meaning that players can continue their progress if they decide to purchase the full version. To kick off the release, Arkane has launched a new trailer to get players up to speed about what’s in store.

PC gamers to get access to Destiny 2 beta on August 29

As Bungie prepares Destiny for its PC debut on October 24, Activision has sent word that the studio will be holding a beta for players to be able to try it out early. Beginning on August 29, PC gamers can try out the opening story mission, Homecoming, plus some of the cooperative and competitive modes. A trailer for the beta offers a glimpse at the action in store, and can be found below.

Call of Duty: WWII trailer details upcoming Multiplayer Private Beta

Call of Duty fans eager to know more about its online action are getting their chance today with the release of a new video. The WWII Multiplayer Private Beta trailer highlights some of the options that will be available when the beta goes live on August 25 for PS4. Gamers can look forward to trying out some of the new maps as well as War Mode as part of all five Divisions, which replace the traditional Pick 10 Create-a-Class system. In addition to the introduction, Operation Breakout, three maps (Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar) will be included along with several modes (Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint). Headquarters, Loot, Supply Drops, and eSports support will not be available during this period, however. Sledgehammer notes that the period will be critical to testing “core gameplay, our game systems, as well as a stress test of our online infrastructure at scale.” For more information, check out the studio’s latest blog post.

Activision is offering a better look at Destiny 2’s multiplayer. A new video highlights some of the new four-versus-four modes and maps, such as Control, Countdown, and Survival. First-person shooter Dusk gets bloody new gameplay trailer

New Blood Interactive has released a new trailer for David Szymanski’s Dusk. The first-person shooter, set to launch later this summer, has some of its 33 levels highlighted in the latest video. The three-episode release is inspired by shooters from throughout the 1990s, such as Doon, Heretic, Blood, and Redneck Rampage. But that goes without saying for anyone that watches the first 20 seconds.

Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition launches digitally for console, PC

The all-in-one bundle Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition has been released digitally for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The set adds everything from Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition to the base game: Scorch Titan, Ion Prime Titans, and Titan Warpaints. Also included is the Jump Start Pack, which adds all Titans and Pilot Tacticals, 500 tokens (to redeem on loadouts, cosmetics, and gear), ten 2XP tokens, and the Underground R-201 Carbine Warpaint. All post-launch DLC is also downloadable for free.
