Star Wars Battlefront to launch for console, PC on November 17

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer announcing that Dice’s Star Wars Battlefront will be released on November 17. The game will feature solo, co-op (couch and online), and 40-player versus missions across Endor, Hoth, Sallust, and Tatooine. Players will be able to play as characters from the original trilogy, including Boba Fett and Darth Vader, as well as pilot speeder bikes, snow speeders, AT-ATs, Tie fighters, and the Millennium Falcon. The video runs a little over two minutes long and features a forest battle powered by the game’s engine, showcasing a handful of the different abilities, vehicles, and races.

Grand Theft Auto V now available for PC, new radio stations added

PC gamers are finally getting their chance to explore Los Santos today with the release of Grand Theft Auto V. The PC version features support for 4k and 60 frames per second, 3D, dual- and triple-monitor setups, controllers, and has 25-plus graphical customization options. Grand Theft Auto is also live, complete with all of the previous updates as well as the new Heists and Adversary Modes. Console gamers making the switch can transfer their GTAO characters to the PC version.

Nordic Games acquires Men of Valor property from 2015 Games

Nordic Games continues their acquisition streak with the Men of Valor IP. The Vietnam War-era first-person shooter was released over a decade ago for PC and Xbox, and Nordic has purchased the rights from the game’s developer, 2015 Games. No word yet, however, on what they plan to do with the property.

Bungie has released the prologue for Bungie’s second expansion pack, House of Wolves. In the video, Guardians are offered vast riches to track down and kill traitorous Fallen, who responded to a gesture of mercy with violence. Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games’ bullet-hell-style first-person shooter Tower Of Guns has launched for PS3, PS4 and will go up on Friday for Xbox One. The download-only release, described as “a pure FPS experience,” features randomized levels and enemies, upgradeable abilities, and modifiable gear. After dying, players retain their kit and powered-up abilities but return to the beginning of the tower to face new enemies and a new layout.

Halo 5: Guardians live-action trailers All Hail and The Cost released

Microsoft has released both of the live-action trailers for Halo 5: Guardians that were aired during last night’s finale of The Walking Dead. Each video shows a situation from a different perspective, with UNSC’s Spartan Locke doubting Master Chief’s legacy as he stands victorious and the Chief giving Locke a lesson in heroism in The Cost. Rockstar is preparing for next month’s release of Grand Theft Auto V for PC with a new batch of screenshots. The 15 shots cover everything from combat to wildlife, and give PC gamers a chance to check out what’s coming their way shortly. A trailer is also scheduled to go live soon, which will give a better look at the graphical upgrades planned for the long-awaited version.

Outlaws, Loom, The Dig, and more from LucasArts added to GOG.com

Another batch of LucasArts titles has been added to GOG.com’s library. Six games are included in the latest set, three of which are making their digital distribution debut: the action-platformer Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, first-person shooter Outlaws (plus A Handful of Missions expansion), and point-and-click adventure Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. The remaining games, each 20% off as part of a launch promo, are all adventure titles: Loom, Monkey Island: LeChuck’s Revenge, and The Dig.
