Forza Horizon 3 will be getting a new set of downloadable rides tomorrow with the Playseat Car Pack. Seven vehicles will be added to the game’s ever-expanding garage: the 1990 Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans, 2016 Cadillac ATS-V, 2017 Aston Martin DB11, 2016 Vauxhall Corsa VXR, 1970 Honda S800, 2016 Honda Civic Type R, and Pete Brock’s 1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A. Forza Horizon 3 – Rockstar Car Pack launches for PC, Xbox One

Turn 10 and Playground are ringing in the new year with a new set of rides for Forza Horizon 3. The seven-car Rockstar Car Pack includes the debut of the BMW i8 along with a wide range of additions from a Ford trophy truck to a Volve supercar. The seven include the 2015 BMW i8, 2015 Volvo V60 Polestar, 2015 Radical RXC Turbo, 1972 Ford Falcon XA GT-HO, 1987 Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31), 2014 Ford #11 Rockstar F-150 Trophy Truck, and the 2016 Bentley Bentayga. Blizzard Mountain Expansion released for Forza Horizon 3

Blizzard Mountain Expansion has gone live for Forza Horizon 3. Blizzard Mountain adds a new high-terrain area to Australia, along with extra events, challenges, and a new campaign. For the first time, players have to contend with snow, heavy wind, and sunlight reflecting off of ice. Seven rides are included to tackle the new environment: 2016 Ford Gymkhana 9 Focus RS RX, 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck, 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4, 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B, 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck, and 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car. Forza Horizon 3 – Blizzard Mountain detailed, going live December 13

Playground has released new details about Forza Horizon 3’s first add-on, Blizzard Mountain Expansion. Scheduled to launch on December 13, the pack will introduce several elements to the series, including blizzards, ice, snow, and high-altitude courses. Players will compete in a 50-plus-event campaign set around Blizzard Mountain to be crowned King of the Mountain. Several of which will involve new race types, including Descent and Hill Climb, while series staples return, such as Blueprints, Bucket Lists, and Rivals. Forza Horizon 3 – Alpinestars Car Pack launches, expansion teased

A new set of rides has been added to Forza Horizon 3 with the release of Alpinestars Car Pack. The $6.99 drop adds seven vehicles: the 2017 Acura NSX, 1998 Nissan Silvia K, 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7, 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT, 2016 Dodge Viper ACR, 2016 BMW M4 GTS, and the 1979 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam. A glimpse at the game’s first expansion, which looks to sport a seasonally appropriate winter theme, was also released and has been posted below the latest pack’s trailer and screens.

Forza Racing Championship – Season 2 detailed, kicks off in Horizon

Turn 10 Studios has opened registration for Season 2 of the Forza Racing Championship. Racers can head to the ESL website to sign up for their spot. The upcoming series is sponsored by Michelin, Logitech G, and Playseat, with cash and prizes of over $150,000. The second season also marks the first time that two Forza games will be involved, Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6. Players can join two different leagues, Elite Series and Recreation Series. The Elite Series will take place over three weeks beginning November 13, and award the top Forza Motorsport 6 racer $10,000 in cash. The Grand Finals will be streamed on the official Forza Twitch and Beam channels on Sunday, December 11. Beginning today, the Recreation Series begins in Forza Horizon 3 and will run for the next seven weeks, with players tackling the special ForzaRC Rivals events. Players can win exclusive cars just for participating, including the 2017 Ford GT Horizon Edition.

Forza Horizon 3 gets seven new rides with The Smoking Tire Car Pack

Forza Horizon 3’s first monthly downloadable pack is now on Live, The Smoking Tire Car Pack. The $7 drop includes seven rides ranging from high-end exotics to rugged off-roaders: the 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan, 2000 Lotus 340R, 2016 Pagani Huayra BC, 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, 2016 GTA Spano, 2016 BMW M2 Coupé, and the 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. A patch has also been released for both versions addressing a variety of tweaks, including added steering wheel sensitivity, bug fixes, controller hot swapping, and improved stability.

Australia calls! Forza Horizon 3 released for PC, Xbox One

Forza Horizon 3 is bringing open-world racing back to Xbox One today, and introducing the Horizon line to PC. Players take on the role of the boss behind the Horizon Festival, and their job of drawing in crowds by earning fans, adding events, and expanding showcases. Hundreds of vehicles are available to purchase as players take to city streets, scenic forested routes, and off-road paths. Up to four drivers can join together in co-op, tackling the campaign together, while up to 12 can participate in free-roaming or structures online play. As an Xbox Play Anywhere, both versions feature support for cross-save and cross-buy.

Forza Horizon 3 now available for Ultimate Edition owners

Owners of Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition can now access the game for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The included Car Pass is also live, giving owners access to VIP membership and the 10-ride the Motorsport All-Stars Car Pack. Microsoft also noted that it’s the first Xbox One S game to feature High Dynamic Range, which is said to add “vibrant light and sunbeams from an authentic Australian sky, precision highlighting on carbon fiber, glistening sand, detailed dirt and vegetation, and more.” Xbox One S owners can check out this post to ensure they have a proper setup.

Forza Horizon 3 demo goes live for Xbox One

Launching in a little over two weeks, you could say that Forza Horizon 3 is on the … horizon. (Heyo!) To get players back into their groove, Turn 10 has released a playable demo for Xbox One. The trial features a tour of the features along with a portion of the map, several events, online free-roaming sessions, and a handful of rides. In addition to the Lamborghini Centenario, the demo garage also includes the BMW M4 Coupe, Ford Shelby GT350R, and 2014 HSV Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo. The studio is currently hosting a look at the demo on their Twitch channel.
