Focus Home has released a new faction trailer for Tindalos’ upcoming real-time strategy title Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. The latest video covers one of the four navies that are battling for control of Gothic sector, the Imperial fleet. Despite not being the strongest or fastest, the battle-hardened ships have become adaptable to most situations, with their void shields, thick armor, torpedoes, and Nova cannon. Broadside Macro cannons and Lance batteries round out the arsenal, and if all else fails, the ships can use their hefty hulls to ram their enemies.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition has launched for console, as has the free update that brings the PC version up to snuff. In fact, Larian has stated that the update adds over 1,000 improvements. The console debut features an interface designed for controllers, online and split-screen co-op play, remastered and fully voiced dialog, a revised storyline, a tweaked crafting system, and more. The PC version received many of the same features, such as dynamic split-screen co-op, along with support for controllers and 4K resolution. Larian is giving console gamers a chance to see how they’ll be throwing down in Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition. The studio has released a new combat trailer that highlights the myriad ways in which foes can be dispatched, which can vary from a traditional sword swipe to something more involved, like igniting a fire near combustible fluids to cause an explosion. Enhanced Edition also features a few new additions and tweaks, including three difficulty modes, interface adjustments, and the Inquisitor class.

Eugen Systems has rolled out the launch trailer for Act of Aggression. Scheduled to launch tomorrow for PC, the real-time strategy game will feature three factions vying for global dominance. The US Army, Chimera, and Cartel will need to build bases, harvest resources, set up supply lines, and research new technologies in a callback to the real-time strategy titles of yesteryear. The campaign features two converging storylines, one for the Chimera and the other for the Cartel, while multiplayer supports skirmishes against the AI and up to eight players (four versus four online). The game is currently 15% off on Steam.

Eugen Systems has released a new trailer for their upcoming real-time strategy title Act of Aggression. The video highlights the various super weapons used by two of the three factions. These are the top-tier weapons that are accessible during the end game, when it’s time to launch those final assaults, whether to wipe out the enemy’s remaining units or to devastate their teetering economy. The US Army has access to the Peacekeeper missile silo and its offense-oriented LGM-118 and the MIM-104 Patriot launcher for defense, while the Chimera has the Omega Blitzer for offense and the mobile Antey for defense. Specifics on the Cartel’s super weapons will have to wait until this year’s Gamescom.
