Trine 2 official site, new screens released, collector’s edition detailed
Trine 2 will be hitting store shelves in Europe as well as the download circuit this December, and today, publisher Focus Home has announced that a collector’s edition will also be available at launch. Frozenbyte’s action side-scroller will get the premium treatment with an included art book, complete with commentary from the developers, a soundtrack, and a copy of the original, all for $19.99.

Wargame: European Escalation gets new release date, screens
Focus has sent word that Eugen Systems’ Wargame: European Escalation has been delayed. The upcoming real-time strategy title will now be shipping out for the PC in the first quarter of 2012. The R.U.S.E. and Act of War developer will be using the additional time to give the game a bit more polish.

Trine 2 release date announced, screens released
Knight Pontius, thief Zoya, and wizard Amadeus are returning for some more side-scrolling puzzle-platforming action later this year when Trine 2 ships to retail and launches online for Mac and PC. The trio will again brave deadly traps and equally dangerous monsters as they quest about in search of loot and adventure. The campaign will be playable with up to three players with support for both online or offline co-op play.

Set to launch “late 2011″ for the 360, PC, and PS3, The Testament will see Holmes trying to clear his name as a case of theft, fraud, and double crossings causes even Watson to doubt. Players will be able to inspect clues, reenact crimes, question characters, and use a new deduction system to clear the good detective’s name.
