Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition to krush PC gamers this July

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that they will be published Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for PC later this summer. Set for a digital release on July 3 and retail release on August 6, the High Voltage Software-ported Komplete Edition will include the original game as well as all available DLC. The post-launch packs added four new fighters (Freddy Krueger, Kenshi, Rain, and Skarlet), 15 Klassic Skins, and three Klassic Fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero.

Namco Bandai’s enduring weapon-based fighting series Soulcalibur is returning to Live Games on Demand and debuting on PS Store next week with its latest entry, Soulcalibur V. Set 17 years after its predecessor, the Project Soul-developed release features the series’ traditional 8-way run system, online play, and a roster of over two dozen characters including a special entrant courtesy of Ubisoft, Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed.

Darkstalkers Resurrection now on PSN, tomorrow on Live

Fighting fans looking to scratch that nostalgic itch will be able to do so twice over with Darkstalkers Resurrection. The combo back, which features Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3, is now available on PSN, and will be available tomorrow on Live Arcade. As with previous digital re-releases, Capcom has added GGPO-enabled online play, an HD graphics filter, unlockable bonuses, and other goodies, such as replay sharing, Tutorial Mode, and Spectator Mode.

Darkstalkers Resurrection to launch March 12 for PS3, 13 for 360

Darkstalkers Resurrection, the double pack download that includes Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3, has been officially dated. PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download the set off PSN for $14.99 on March 12, while those going the 360 route will be able to download it off Live Marketplace for 1200 MS Points on March 13.
