Geese’s Team South Town debut in new trailer for King of Fighters XIV

After a brief break showing off the newly launched digital pre-order bonuses, the team intros are back for King of Fighters XIV. The latest troupe to enter the ring is Team South Town. Comprised of infamous controller-breaker Geese Howard, Billy Kane, and newcomer Hein, the trio is a squad of baddies. Geese practices the Hakkyokuseiken style, when he’s not busy running a crime syndicate, while Billy utilizes a three-piece staff as he fights using Bojutsu and Hein has the ability to harness a powerful red energy. The King of Fighters XIV digital pre-order, bonuses, new trailer live

The King of Fighters XIV is now available for digital pre-order on PSN. Players who get in early will receive a dynamic PS4 theme as well as two costumes, Nightmare Geese and Classic Kyo. In an explosion of marketing synergy, a new trailer has gone live for Nightmare Geese, which is available alongside a few shots of the theme. And of course, here’s a handy list to check out all the current team reveals: Team Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Kim, Villains, Official Invitation, South America, and Mexico.

Team Mexico enters the ring in new The King of Fighters XIV trailer

Now, it’s the time for the one thing King of Fighters XIV has been missing: a dinosaur man. Today’s introduction of Team Mexico sees this terrible wrong righted with former NESTS soldier Angel and Muay Thai practitioner Ramon being joined by the mysterious wrestler King of Dinosaurs. This strange squad can be seen duking it out below in a new trailer. The King of Fighters XIV to be at EVO 2016 with demo, tourney

Atlus and SNK are once again bringing King of Fighters to EVO. This year, EVO 2016 will host a booth and a small tournament for The King of Fighters XIV. They will be bringing the latest build for some hands-on time, including a free-to-enter tournament that will net winners $1,400 for first, $700 for second, and $350 for third place. A panel will also be held with artists and developers on hand to answer questions and sign autographs. The full schedule can be found below.

The King of Fighters XIV is joined by Team South America

Another week means another team reveal for The King of Fighters XIV, and this time it’s Team South America. The squad consists of self-trained ninja Bandeiras Hattori, rain forest environmentalist and Capoeira practitioner Zarina, and up-and-coming boxer Nelson. In addition to the team’s trailer, there are also a host of videos from the E3 2016 Exhibition. Five are posted below, and the rest can be found on Atlus’ playlist. The crew’s competition currently consists of Team Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Kim, Villains, and Official Invitation.

Balrog, Ibuki, and Story Mode launching tomorrow for Street Fighter V

Capcom has detailed tomorrow’s big update for Street Fighter V. The patch will add the new five-act cinematic story mode, A Shadow Falls, and two new characters, returning brawlers Balrog and Ibuki. The former will be free for everyone, while the latter will require purchase with earned Fight Money or cash. A Shadow Falls takes place between Street Fighter IV and III, with the 16 core characters battling it out as a World Warrior or a member of Shadaloo. Six released and unreleased post-launch downloadable characters are also going to take part. In addition to Balrog and Ibuki, both detailed below, the update will feature their stages, Las Vegas and Karin’s Kanzuki Family Private Beach. General tweaks include “faster and smarter matching” for multiplayer and Currency Shop options to use real money through PS Store and Steam.

2D anime fighter Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late launches on Steam

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late will be hitting Steam on July 12 for Windows PC. The Arc System Works-published fighter from French Bread pits 16 characters against one another as they battle Paradox and her organization, Amnesia, during Hollow Night. Newcomers to the genre should note that the game has a simplified control system to allow for quick acclimation, while experienced players will be able to take advantage of more advanced mechanics. Online play is also supported with ranked and player matches, as well as leaderboards.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven now on PSN for PS4

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s latest JoJo adventure, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven, is now available for PS4. The digital-only release is a two-on-two brawler that features a new storyline, supervised by manga creator Hirohiko Araki, and a roster of over 50 characters drawn from each arc of the anime and manga series. The cast of eccentric fighters have a wide array of abilities, from being able to harness energy, summon a fighting spirit, and battle on horseback. Players will be able to take a team of two through a campaign or online in a four-player versus mode.

A team of newcomers arrives to compete in The King of Fighter XIV

The King of Fighter XIV’s newest members are getting their debut trailer today as Team Official Invitation. Each was personally invited by the host of the tournament, the billionaire Antonov. Sylvie is a slightly unhinged ex-member of NEST, modified to utilize electrical attacks during fights. Kukri is a mysterious hooded fighter who is capable of wielding sand.
