JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven now on PSN for PS4

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s latest JoJo adventure, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven, is now available for PS4. The digital-only release is a two-on-two brawler that features a new storyline, supervised by manga creator Hirohiko Araki, and a roster of over 50 characters drawn from each arc of the anime and manga series. The cast of eccentric fighters have a wide array of abilities, from being able to harness energy, summon a fighting spirit, and battle on horseback. Players will be able to take a team of two through a campaign or online in a four-player versus mode.

A team of newcomers arrives to compete in The King of Fighter XIV

The King of Fighter XIV’s newest members are getting their debut trailer today as Team Official Invitation. Each was personally invited by the host of the tournament, the billionaire Antonov. Sylvie is a slightly unhinged ex-member of NEST, modified to utilize electrical attacks during fights. Kukri is a mysterious hooded fighter who is capable of wielding sand. Tekken 7 launching early ’17 for console, PC, TTT2 free for Live Gold

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tekken 7. The video coincides with the news that the game will be released in early 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Currently in development under franchise director Katsuhiro Harada, the home port will feature several additions over the arcade version, including Story Mode, which will host seven new characters alongside Street Fighter’s Akuma. The storyline will follow the struggle between members of the Mishima clan. To celebrate the announcement, and so players can take advantage of its recent addition to the list of Backward Compatible titles, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be free for a limited time for Xbox Live Gold members, starting today at 1 p.m. (CST) until June 21 at 5:00 a.m. (CST).

King of Fighters XIV gets Burn to Fight edition, Team Fatal Fury trailer

Atlus will be releasing a premium version of The King of Fighters XIV, and they’ve brought along Team Fatal Fury for the announcement. The Burn to Fight edition will come with a 144-page art book, a 3-disc soundtrack set that includes over 60 songs, and a steelbook case, all bundled in a collector’s box. Some muscle was also brought in to show off the new edition, with Fatal Fury alumni Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Terry Bogard bashing some faces in a new trailer.

Players looking to experience the first chapter of JoJo’s latest arc can give it a go today with a new demo of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. The trial includes a portion of Story Mode, which is inspired by the entire run of the series, and a sample of VS Mode. Combatants are able to go head to head as one of four characters: Jotaro Kujo, Noriaki Kakyoin, Josuke Higashikata, and Okuyasu Nijimura. Everyone who downloads and plays the demo will also receive 10,000 JoJo Points, an in-game currency that is used to buy costumes, player cards, and battle items.

Koihime Enbu kicks, punches its way onto Steam for Windows PC

Unknown Games’ all-gal fighter Koihime Enbu has been added to Steam. Published by Degica, the anime-style brawler is based on an alternate reading of Romance of the Three Kingdoms that eschews grand battles for one-on-one combat.
