The images showcase the Western Approach, which includes the increasingly untenable Fortress of Adamant in what is now a wasteland. Titanfall: Expedition set to deploy for PC, Xbox One on May 15

EA deploys Titanfall launch trailer, final countdown begins

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox One bundle that includes a free digital copy of Respawn and EA’s shooter Titanfall. Beginning March 11, select retailers will be selling a $499.99 set that includes a digital code for Titanfall, a month of Live Gold, a system with Kinect sensor, a wireless controller (standard, not the futuristic-looking Titanfall-themed controller), and a headset. The bundle will only be available for the launch of the game and won’t be restocked afterwards.

Battlefield 4 has been sent out on its final deployment today with its release for Xbox One. In addition to the launch announcement, DICE also had a note for fans who have been playing one of the other versions and have experienced some problems, which is that they “have the entire team working to stabilize the game and we will not move on to other projects until we are sure that Battlefield 4 meets – and exceeds – your expectations.” A Double XP weekend was announced to thank players for their patience, which will begin on November 28 and run through December 5. A special weapon add-on, the 3X-zoom-enabled M1911 pistol scope, will also be given to players that log in on December 5.

Electronic Arts has announced that the next-gen version of Need for Speed Rivals will be arriving ahead of schedule and hitting store shelves (and PSN) alongside the PS4, on November 15. Rivals will support Remote Play, which will allow gamers to begin races on their PS4 and end them on their PS Vita, or vice versa. The Frostbite 3-powered racer will allow players to take to the streets as a racer on the run from the law or as the pursuing police. The game will boast day and night cycles, weather effects, and different progression paths that have their own vehicles and unlocks.

Titanfall to be released next March, Collector’s Edition announced

Gamers looking forward to Respawn Entertainment’s debut won’t have much longer to wait, as EA has revealed that Titanfall will launch on March 11. It was also announced that the 360, PC, and Xbox One versions will receive a Collector’s Edition. Priced at an eyebrow-raising $249.99, the premium set will include an 18” statue of an Atlas titan (complete with LED lighting), an 190-page art book, and a poster featuring the Atlas’ schematics. The standard release and the Collector’s Edition are scheduled to launch at the same time.
