Adam Jensen is quite out of the woods yet. Come next month, Jensen will find himself back into the thick of things with The Missing Link DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The pack will be available for all platforms and PC, including OnLive. Taking place during the three days when he was out of reach, Jensen will find himself crippled by Belltower agents after being tortured and having his augments disabled. Players will get to rebuild Jensen’s augment loadout as they uncover a new storyline and encounter new characters.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution now available for 360, PC, PS3

Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal’s shooter-RPG Deus Ex: Human Revolution is now available for the 360, PC, and PS3. PC gamers have the option to purchase either a retail copy, which includes a free OnLive digital copy that allows for play on “nearly any PC or Mac computer” as well as TVs, or a download copy through Steam. In addition to the standard release, a special Augemented edition is also available that includes a 40-page art book and a DVD containing a 44-minute making-of special, the game’s soundtrack, a motion-comic adapted from the DC series, the E3 trailer, and an animated storyboard.

Square Enix has announced that Eidos-Montreal’s upcoming conspiracy-laden action-RPG Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold and will be available on August 23. Follow-up to 2003’s Invisible War and prequel to the 2000 original, Human Revolution follows the story of Adam Jensen, a man who was forcefully cybernetically augmented and now finds himself in the midst of a global conspiracy. As with its predecessors, Human Revolution will focus on choices, with the consequences of the actions taken leading to one of several endings.

Square Enix announces Comic-Con 2011 demos, panels, and more

Square Enix will be doing their part to get attendees gaming at this year’s Comic-Con. Alongside Final Fantasy XIII-2 at booth 3829 will be previews and playable demos of Deep Silver’s zombie survival-horror title Dead Island, Eidos-Montreal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Ankama’s Wakfu. In addition, there will also be one-hour panels for both Deus Ex and Dead Island as well as the debut of Dissidia and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Play Arts -Kai- figurines. Deus Ex: Human Revolution eyes Steam, to support Steamworks

Valve has lured another publisher with its digital charms. Square Enix has announced that Eidos-Montreal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be available over Steam, in addition to retail, when it is released on August 23. In addition, Human Revolution will support several Steamworks features, such as auto-updating, Steam Achievements, and Steam Cloud support.
