Beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CST) on the game’s official Twitch channel, 18 minutes of gameplay footage will be revealed as well as news about upcoming Deus Ex-related projects. The demo will feature the city-hub of Prague along with a few side quests.

A new live-action trailer has been released for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The four-minute-long video offers a glimpse at how the world has changed since Human Revolution, with the events leading to what’s become known as the Mechanical Apartheid. After the uncontrolled attacks by those with augmentations in 2027, a global shift has taken place where people and laws are trying to separate Augs from the unmodified populace, known as Naturals. As governments begin taking away the augmented, pockets of resistance form to fight for their freedom.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided pre-order program revamped, tiers dropped

Square Enix has revamped the pre-order program for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. After receiving negative feedback from the community about the former tier-based model, which added items as pre-order milestones were met, the studio has decided to go with an all-in-one plan: “all of the associated content with the program will now be made available for free to anyone who pre-orders or purchases a Day 1 edition.” One particularly contentious bonus was the ability to play the game early. This has also been changed, and now, everyone will be able to access the game on February 23.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided dated, tiered pre-order program revealed

Square Enix has revealed that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released on February 23 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A pre-order promotion was also detailed, titled Augment Your Pre-Order. Similar to the approach taken with Drakengard 3, items are added as tier goals are met through pre-order sales. In this case, the extras will be available in the Day One Edition. Early buyers will not only be able to select which items they want from unlocked tiers, but they will also be given the chance to bump up the release date by four days. For those wanting a bit more, a Collector’s Edition will come with a 48-page art book, a 9” Adam Jensen figure, and a steelbook, in addition to all to the regular pre-order bonuses and a copy of the Day One Edition.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided announced for console and PC, trailer up

Square Enix has revealed Eidos Montreal’s follow-up to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The sequel is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will take place two years after the events in Human Revolution, with humanity split between those with and those without augments. Players will once again take on the role of Adam Jensen, who is now an anti-terrorist agent with even more powerful augments, as he tries to navigate and uncover the mysterious forces who are attempting to manipulate the divided public.

More is being revealed of the latest incarnation of Thief. Square Enix has released new screenshots and concept art from a mission titled Lockdown. Set at the beginning of the game, Lockdown’s objective requires that Garrett make his way through the city after it has been locked down by Baron Northcrest. The Baron is attempting to prevent an uprising by the people after the outbreak of The Gloom, an illness that is spreading amongst the populace, causing them to hear voices and suffer from horrific nightmares. Garrett’s hideout is on the other side of the city, but on his way to safety, he decides to make a quick detour to check out some jewels.

Garrett gets back to business in new Thief gameplay trailer

The first gameplay trailer for Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Thief reboot has been released by Square Enix. The three-minute video shows Garrett breaking into and stealing a precious jewel from Baron Northcrest’s guarded manor by pickpocketing, picking locks, uncovering hidden rooms, and eluding patrols before escaping the night watch.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut shipping to retail Oct. 22

Square Enix has announced that Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, the one-time Wii U exclusive, will launch on October 22 for 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U. A Mac OS X version is slated for release “in the near future.” The Director’s Cut adds Miiverse integration and GamePad support for the Wii U version, Smartglass support for the 360 version, and PS Vita touchscreen support for the PS3 version. A host of general improvements and extras are slated to be included as well, such as the Missing Link DLC, developer commentary, overhauled boss fights, and refined graphics, control, and AI.

Thief trailer and box art released, dated for February 25

Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Thief reboot will be launching on February 25 for PC, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One, according to publisher Square Enix.
