Tropico 4 release date announced for 360
El Presidente returned to gaming last summer when Tropico 4 launched for PC, and now, console gamers are getting their chance to rule a Caribbean island of their own. The people are ready to cheer in a new incarnation of the president, and they have announced that they are prepared to hand over power on October 18 when Tropico 4 hits store shelves for the 360.

Tropico 4 – Update 1.03 released for PC
Tropico 4 received a substantial update today, available through the in-game launcher as well as Steam and other download outlets. Update 1.03 contains a number of fixes and improvements, such as a population increase up to 1,500, the ability to hire Soldiers and Generals during Street Riots, and ensuring that tourists no longer get stuck in buildings. Tropico 4 – 360 and PC release dates announced
El Presidente has officially been called back to service. The mustachioed one will be ready to guide (or torture) his people later this month when Tropico 4 launches for the PC on August 30 and in mid-September when it launches for the 360. Both versions will include 20 new missions, 10 new maps, 20 new buildings, six interactive natural disasters, ministers to elect and manipulate, and National Agendas. The PC version will also include social media integration via Facebook and Twitter.
