Dragon’s Crown final box, art book covers revealed
Atlus has revealed the official box art for Vanillaware’s upcoming four-player hack-and-slash brawler, Dragon’s Crown. To sweeten the pot, Atlus also released the cover to the pre-order 64-page art book. Despite the PS3 and PS Vita versions sharing the same cover, it was noted that the game will not support cross-buy.

Dragon’s Crown to launch this summer for PS3, PS Vita
Atlus has announced that Vanillaware’s upcoming hack-and-slash title Dragon’s Crown will be hitting store shelves for the PS3 and PS Vita this summer. The one- to four-player brawler has players choose one of six heroes from different classes to take into the dungeons of Hydeland in order to destroy monsters and loot as much booty as they can carry. Multiplayer will be supported via drop-in play on PS3 and adhoc on PS Vita, but unfortunately, cross-platform play is not in the cards.

Atlus picks up publishing rights to Vanillaware’s Dragon’s Crown
UTV Ignition Games, the studio behind the psychedelic action-platformer El Shaddai, has passed the publishing rights for Vanillaware’s upcoming 2D action-RPG Dragon’s Crown to Atlus. Vanillaware will continue to develop the title, currently scheduled to launch next year for the PS3 and PS Vita, in which players take on the role of one of six adventurers with up to three friends in a side-scrolling medieval brawler.
