A new crop of screenshots from Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited has been released by NIS America. The new pics show a few of the new scenarios that are being added to the PS Vita re-release as well as the older character models in their new high-res forms. In addition to the new content, A Promise Revisited will include all of the original PS3 version’s post-launch DLC.
NIS announced that they will be bringing back Disgaea 4 later this summer in a new updated version for PS Vita. A Promise Revisited, scheduled to launch on August 12 in stores and on PSN, will include the original game, A Promise Unforgotten, as well as all downloadable content. NIS will also be adding new scenarios, characters, job-specific abilities, music tracks, and a new spell tier as well as high-resolution sprites.
NIS is getting into the North American Android market this fall with a new entry in the Disgaea series, Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound. Not many details were released, but it was stated that the game is going to be optimized for the platform and retain the series’ core elements while also being streamlined.
Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is now available for the PS3 (dood). The fourth outing includes updated visuals, the ability to create and manage a political cabinet to customize your team’s stats, a random map generator, and of course, the ability to go to level 9999. Custom maps can also be generated and shared with friends. Online play has also made its way to the series with the ability for players to create custom armies and invade other realms, with tracked win/loss records.
