Company of Heroes 2 DLC and free maps released, original patched

Relic’s Turning Point campaign to provide additional content for Company of Heroes 2 continues today with the release of the Theater of War pack Southern Fronts as well as a general update. The patch includes bug fixes and gameplay tweaks, two free maps (Hill 331 and Don River), and the ability to upload user-created World Builder maps to Steam’s Workshop. The original Company of Heroes is also being updated with new Steam functionality, such as secure leaderboards and servers for battle and arbitration. Zen Pinball 2 launching for PS4 on Dec.17 with free, paid DLC tables

Zen Studios is expanding their pinball empire later this month with the release of Zen Pinball 2 for PS4. The upcoming version is scheduled to launch on December 17, and as before, the game will be a free download and serve as a platform for downloading tables as DLC. There will be 20 tables at launch, and each will be available individually or as part of eight different sets (Star Wars Pinball, Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force, Marvel Pinball, Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles, Plants vs. Zombies Pinball, Epic Quest, Paranormal, and Earth Defense).

Turn 10 Studios addresses player complaints regarding Forza 5

Forza developer Turn 10 Studios has responded to some of the complaints regarding the price of cars and tokens, including the inability of Limited Edition owners to purchase any vehicle in the game, which was supposed to be part of the package, and the low credit payouts. Community manager Brian Ekberg has announced the studio’s plans to address the issues, such as offering a 50 percent credit and token discount, free cars, and additional compensation for those affected. Enjoy Shakespeare? Enjoy typing zombies to death? Sega already knows the answer. Seeing the obvious connection, they took it upon themselves to combine the two in earnest and satisfy theatre-loving zombie hunters twice over with the launch of Shakespeare of the Dead DLC. As its title suggests, the $2.99 release replaces the original dictionary with lines from several of Shakespeare’s plays. Additionally, a free patch has launched that adds two-player competitive story mode and mini-games.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies’ first DLC case, Turnabout Reclaimed, is now available for download. The $5.99 full-length episode, purchasable from the in-game menu, features a new client, the pirate Sasha Buckler. As the first case Wright takes after reclaiming his Attorney’s badge, he must help defend Buckler’s stylish killer whale companion against a murder charge. The Mood Matrix and Psyche-Lock, introduced in Dual Destinies, will come into play, and Pearl Fey will return to help the Anything team against prosecutor Simon Blackquill.



Rolento and co. bring the pain in new Ultra Street Fighter IV screens

A handful of new screenshots has been released showcasing the latest additions to Ultra Street Fighter IV. Elena, Hugo, Poison, and Rolento re-join the fight after their stopover in Street Fighter X Tekken, and going by the screens, apparently proceed to demolish the old crew.

Company of Heroes 2: Victory at Stalingrad DLC launching next week

After announcing a free download earlier this week for Company of Heroes 2, Sega has revealed a new for-pay download set to launch next week. The upcoming release, Victory at Stalingrad, will be available on November 12 for $9.99 as part of the Turning Point update. The drop will include one Co-Op Scenario, Kalach Pincer; two Solo Challenges, Tatsinskaya Raid and Bridge Defense; and three AI Battles, Stalingrad Encirclement, Stalingrad Resistance, and Winter Storm. Details for each are posted below. Also available in Turning Point are premium commanders for $2.99 and skins for $1.99.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance now $29.99, includes character DLC

Konami has gone for a double whammy to entice gamers into grabbing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Not only have they lowered the price to $29.99, but they have also tossed in the Jetstream and Blade Wolf character download packs. The Jetstream DLC features Samuel Rodriguez, Raiden’s dashing sword-wielding rival, in his own side story that details his origins. The Blade Wolf DLC is a similar origin-themed release that reveals the backstory of Blade Wolf, previously known as LQ-84i. In addition to seeing how he came to serve under Desperado Enforcement’s Sundowner, players will also get to experience a new boss battle.

Forza Motorsport 5 to get six DLC packs, LaFerrari Car Pack detailed

Microsoft has announced the post-launch support Turn 10 has in store for Forza Motorsport 5. A total of six 10-car packs are scheduled for release, with the first pack launching on November 22, and the rest following on a monthly basic from January through May. The first out the gate, the LaFerrari Car Pack, will launch alongside the Xbox One and include the rare titular hypercar. More info on the remaining cars in the inaugural pack will be revealed on November 18.

Dead Rising 3 weapon, outfit trailer released, Season Pass detailed

Just in time for Halloween, Capcom has released a new trailer for Dead Rising 3. The upcoming open-world zombie-slayer will be released on November 22, and to make sure gamers are prepared to take down the hordes—in style, at that—the trailer showcases some of the many equippable weapons and costumes. Details about the Season Pass were also released, which will go live on November 22 for $29.99 and include access to all four $9.99 game packs: Operation Broken Eagle, Fallen Angel, Chaos Rising, and The Last Agent.
