Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Uprising DLC pack now on Live for 360
Uprising is now available on Live Marketplace for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The latest DLC pack, set to launch later for PC and PS3, includes four new multiplayer maps and the new star-studded Zombies mode Mob of the Dead. The maps—Encore, Magma, Studio, and Vertigo—are set in a live volcano in Japan, deserted London music festival, and futuristic skyscraper in India, while Studio is a remake of Black Ops’ Firing Range. Mob of the Dead features Ray Liotta as Billy Handsome, Chazz Palminteri as Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca, Joe Pantoliano as Al “The Weasel” Arlington, and Michael Madsen as Michael “Finn” O’Leary as inmates in Alcatraz Prison during an undead outbreak.

Dishonored – The Knife of Dunwall now available for consoles, PC
Players avenged the Empress’ death in Dishonored, and now it’s time for them to be on the other end as the assassin that killed her with the launch of The Knife of Dunwall. The latest DLC pack adds a new single-player scenario that has players take on the role of the infamous killer Daud, who must lead his band of mercenaries, the Whalers, in a quest for redemption. Dishonored – The Knife of Dunwall DLC gameplay trailer released
A new trailer has launched for Dishonored’s upcoming second DLC pack, The Knife of Dunwall. The two-minute-long video begins with the events at the beginning of Dishonored, and then follows Daud, the Empress’s killer, in his quest for revenge. Daud will visit new districts and wreak havoc with his band of mercenaries, the Whalers, as well as gain access to new weapons, items, and abilities.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Uprising announced, detailed
Treyarch is readying the release of Uprising, the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Set to launch on Live Marketplace on April 16, and on PSN and Steam in the near future, Uprising will include four new multiplayer maps, set in Japan (Magma), London (Encore), India (Vertigo), and Hollywood (Studio, a remake of Firing Range), and a surreal Zombies addition titled Mob of the Dead.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut detailed, trailer released
Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Director’s Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, as well as a host of details about the many (many) improvements that are in store. The full details are available below, but some of the highlights include redesigned boss fights, which will feature new map layouts and tweaks to allow for non-violent victories; an improved energy-charging system so augments can be used more frequently; eight hours of director’s commentary; a 45-minute making-of movie; direct play via the GamePad; and the integration of the Missing Link DLC. The downside? It’s not coming out until next year.

Forza to get pack April Top Gear Car Pack next week
The April Top Gear Car Pack will be launching on Live on April 2. The six-car pack, detailed below, features rides selected by Top Gear Magazine and Turn 10 Studios, as well as two debuts: the 2012 Bowler EXR S and the 2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato. A free car is also being included, the 2002 BMW M3-GTR.

Gears of War: Judgment gets title update, free map and mode DLC
A free DLC pack, sponsored by Maxim, has launched for Gears of War: Judgment. The limited-time giveaway download includes the return of Execution Mode and a new multiplayer map, Haven. Special playlists for both have also been made available, offering 200% XP boosts for regular players and 300% XP boosts for VIP pass holders. A title update has also launched, and is detailed below.

Zen Pinball 2 launches on eShop for Wii U
Zen Pinball 2 is now available to download from the eShop for Wii U. The free download includes trials for each of the launch tables, as well as the ability unlock the full versions of current and future tables. Pinballers will be able to play on the GamePad with direct play, challenge others locally via splitscreen or hotseat modes, and compete in various challenges for placement in a national ranking system as well as in global tournaments. Several tables are currently available, incuding three Marvel table packs, the three-table Classic pack, and a handful of singles, including Epic Quest and Plants vs. Zombies.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut announced for Wii U
In the ‘pleasantly surprising news’ category, Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing a Director’s Cut of Eidos Montreal’s action role-playing game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. What should excite Wii U owners the most isn’t the GamePad support for touchscreen hacking and map editing, Miiverse integration, inclusion of the Missing Link DLC, developer commentary, or improved graphics, control, and AI. No, they should be excited about the overhauled boss fights. Not that the other stuff isn’t worth getting excited about, because they should make a great game even better, it’s just that the boss fights were absolutely terrible.
