GOG.com has kicked off pre-orders for Larian’s upcoming strategy-RPG Divinity: Dragon Commander. As an incentive, GOG is knocking off $5 for gamers who pre-order, lowering the price to $39.99. For those wanting to learn a bit more—and who doesn’t, given there are dragons with jetpacks—the crew at GOG held a Q&A with Larian. The nearly hour-long discussion (!) covers the studio’s influences, the game’s backstory, unit upgrades, and how the council of advisors will function. Larian Studios has released a new trailer for Divinity: Dragon Commander, their upcoming strategy game that is not only set in a traditionally role-playing universe but also features dragons with jet packs. The first of its kind in the Divinity franchise, which already hosts five titles—and not a jet pack in a single one of them—Dragon Commander has been something of a mystery since its announcement. That looks to change with the brand-spanking-new video overview, which covers your council’s (manipulative) advisers, research, unit coordination, and dragon-on-dragon combat.
