With less than a month to go until launch, Deep Silver has announced the minimum, recommended, and optimum specs for 4A Games’s upcoming first-person shooter Metro: Last Light. The sequel to Metro 2033 will be powered by the proprietary 4A Engine, which has been optimized to take advantage of DirectX 11 graphics cards as well as Nvidia PhysX and 3D Vision. For gamers curious if their rigs are up to snuff, Nvidia has a GPU Analyzer for Last Light.

Sacred Citadel launches for 360, PC, and PS3

Sacred Citadel, a new side-scrolling brawler set in the Sacred universe, is now available for 360, PC, and PS3. The primarily action-RPG series is branching out with this arcade-style beat ‘em up from Southend Interactive, which features fives characters—a mage, ranger, shaman, and warrior—battling it out using a combo-based combat system and leveling via RPG-style mechanics. Four-player multiplayer, complete with drop-in/drop-out co-op, is also supported in all versions.

Deep Silver announces free pre-order DLC for Dead Island Riptide

Deep Silver has announced that all pre-orders for Risen 2: Dark Waters will be given a bump up to the Special Edition, which will include a new location and an estimated five hours of additional gameplay, courtesy of the included Treasure Isle DLC map pack. In addition to Treasure Isle, GameStop is also offering a pistol and stat-boosting equipment set, Pirate’s Clothes.
