Dead Space 3 – Awakened DLC now available for consoles, PC
Dead Space 3’s storyline continues today with the release of the content DLC pack Awakened. The new expansion, playable in single player and co-op, picks up where Dead Space 3 left off, with Isaac Clark and John Carver attempting to repair the Terra Nova and return to Earth. Their plans quickly go awry once Clark begins to hallucinate and distrust sets in between the two as the Necromorphs close in.

Dead Space 3 available for 360, PC, and PS3, DLC announced
The battle against the Necromorph continues today with the release of Visceral Games’ Dead Space 3. New to the series are a weapon-crafting system, drop-in/drop-out multiplayer, and Kinect support for 360. Players will also venture to a new planet, the frozen world of Tau Volantis. As Sergeant John Carver, players will seek out the source of the Necromorph threat as they unlock side missions that reveal more about the monsters’ origin. EA has also announced the first DLC drop, Awakened, which will introduce a new chapter this March for 800 MS Points/$9.99.

Amazon and GameStop offer new pre-order extras for Dead Space 3
Visceral Games has announced two new pre-order incentives for their upcoming action title Dead Space 3. Gamers who pre-order the title at GameStop will receive the EG-900 SMG, while those who pre-order through Amazon will gain access to the shockingly accurate (ha!) Tesla Enervator. It was also noted that these are in addition to the First Contact and Witness the Truth pre-order bundles bonus content, which are part of the first run Limited Edition batch.

Dead Space 3 release date, pre-order extras announced
Isaac Clark, and co-op partner John Carver, will be continuing man’s struggles against the Necromorphs on February 5 when Dead Space 3 hits store shelves for 360, PC, and PS3. EA has also announced that gamers who pre-order the Limited Edition will be able to immediately access two bundles, detailed below, the First Contact Bundle and the Witness the Truth Bundle. Each bundle includes a new suit and a new weapon.

Visceral Games shows off Dead Space 3 co-op play in new screens
Dead Space 3 will bring more to the series than just an increasingly tired Isaac. As earlier announced, the third entry will add drop-in/drop-op co-op play that will allow friends to join in on the Necromorph gutting as Sergeant John Carver. Today, a new batch of screenshots was released showing more of the duo in action, with Carver sporting a fetching red and black panoply.
