NIS has released Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, a new investigative adventure visual novel for PS Vita. Released in Japan for PSP in 2010, the localized version follows the same storyline with players assuming the role of Makoto Naegi, a student at Hope’s Peak Academy who must investigate a series of murders to find out which student is the guilty party. On a slight twist to the traditional whodunit, the school is locked down by a crazy bear named Monokuma, who serves as the judge and jailer, promising freedom to the person who can murder without getting caught. Naegi must gather evidence for both the ongoing trial and to discover who is holding them hostage before time runs out.

The new shots reveal more of the questioning process that players will have to undertake in order to find out the masked culprit behind the latest killing at Hope’s Peak Academy. If they don’t discover who the creepy-looking bear is in time, no one will escape the school alive (dun dun duuunnn!).
