CyberConnect2′s upcoming fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will be going for sale on April 29. As previously announced, the game will be available digitally and as a limited boxed version sold only through Amazon and Club Namco. For those wanting to pre-order, it was also revealed today that both outlets are each offering their own unique bonus in the form of a downloadable character. Club Namco has the salesman-turned-killer Yoshikage Kira, while Amazon is offering the portly trickster Shigekiyo Yangu.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle to get physical release

Namco Bandai has some good news for fans of fighting games, and that’s a retail release and new mode for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle. The CyberConnect2-developed fighter, released last August in Japan, will be launching later this year online for download and to purchase on disc. The PS3 exclusive will be available to download through PSN and also in limited availability in physical format through Amazon.com and ClubNamco.com. The Western release will include not only post-release balance tweaks but also a new mode, Arcade, which adds an eight-player tournament.

The Ultimate Ninja Storm series will be returning to the 360 and PS3 next year with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. Developer CyberConnect2 continues to helm the franchise and will be adding new techniques, including Combination Ultimate Jutsu attacks for stronger combos, and over 100 characters from both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden story arcs. Manga creator Masashi Kishimoto will also be providing a brand-new character.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle announced for 2014 release

CyberConnect2’s one-on-one fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will be launching next year in North America for PS3, according to publisher Namco Bandai. Based off of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga, the upcoming brawler will feature a Story Mode, local and online Versus, and a roster filled with characters from all eight story arcs. Each character will utilize one of five Battle Styles and have access to an array of unique special moves.

Tales of Xillia, Naruto Shippuden panels announced for WonderCon

Attendees at this year’s WonderCon in Anaheim will be able to attend panels on Tales of Xillia and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Namco Bandai has announced that the Tales panel will be headed by producer Hideo Baba, while Hiroshi Matsuyama, CEO and President of CyberConnect2, will be at the Naruto panel. Both gentlemen will also be available throughout the weekend to meet fans and sign items at Namco Bandai’s booth (#1307). Full details are available below.

Asura’s Wrath gets episode DLC, remaining DLC dated

The first round of DLC for Asura’s Wrath has hit PSN and will launch tomorrow on Live Marketplace. Today’s release includes Episode 11.5, an anime-inspired downloadable episode that bridges the gap between episodes 11 and 12 of the full game. The pack is going for 160 MS Points/$1.99. Another stylized episode is scheduled to launch next week, on April 3, for the same price.

Capcom’s collaboration with CyberConnect2, Asura’s Wrath, is now available for the 360 and PS3. As a once-revered god banished for a crime he didn’t commit, players set out to take revenge on those who exiled him and murdered his family. According to Capcom, Asura’s Wrath is set to redefine the action genre by fusing Asian mythology with science fiction to deliver “unprecedented levels of dynamism, drama, and interaction.”

A new demo for Capcom’s upcoming action title Asura’s Wrath has launched on PS Network, and 360 gamers can look forward to giving it a go tomorrow when it hits Live Marketplace. The demo offers a taste of the game’s “blend of action and cinematic sequences” with two episodes, which includes a boss battle with Wyzen, said to be the size of a planet, and Augus, Asura’s old mentor.

Asura’s Wrath is receiving the pre-order treatment from Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. Amazon is offering the Devastator Pack, which includes two additional gauges that reduce damage taken and increase the Unlimited Rage Gauge’s recharge rate. Best Buy has another pack on offer, the Infinity Pack, which includes the Extinguisher Mode and Zealot Mode; the two allow players to recover quickly from overheating as well as prolong Unlimited Rage Mode. GameStop is offering up some physical goods instead of virtual extras, with a “what if” comic book from Penny Arcade, following the cyborg-demigod throughout everyday situations, and a collection of developer CyberConnect 2′s concept art on the flipside.
