Developer- and Publisher-specific Articles: Cross-Save
NIS has added a new strategy role-playing game to their 2014 line-up, Natural Doctrine. The Kadokawa Game Studio-developed release will send players into the caves and ruins near the fortress city of Feste to battle a new evil while collecting a valuable material known as Pluton. Physical and digital releases are planned for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita with dual voice tracks and support for both cross-play and cross-save.
Dennaton might have just revealed Hotline Miami 2, but that doesn’t mean that the original is ready to pack it in. Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that Hotline Miami, with its bizarre animal masks, 30-plus weapon arsenal, and 20 violent missions, has launched on PSN for PS3 and PS Vita for $9.99. The PSN version supports cross-save and buy, as well as adds trophies, leaderboards for each level, the new Russell Mask, which changes the colors to black and white, and a touch lock-on aiming system for PS Vita.
Sly Cooper returns for a new adventure today in the Sanzaru Games-developed Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for PS3 and PS Vita. Picking up after Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, Sly and company must travel back in time and around the world, from Feudal Japan to Medieval England, in order to meet and learn from the Cooper Clan before the remaining pages of the familial tome on thievery vanishes. Launching alongside Thieves in Time is a companion title for both systems, the PSN-only mini-game collection Bentley’s Hackpack.
