Call of Duty: Black Ops III screens, trailer released, launching Nov. 6

After last week’s Ember teaser, Activision has followed up with not only a new trailer but also the first screenshots as well as the official release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Treyarch will be making their return to the series after three years on Friday, November 6. Announced features include support for four-player co-op in campaign, a new, separate progression system for Zombies, a new weapon customizations system, and the new Specialist system, which allows players to rank and customize up to nine characters. Exo Suits will not be making a return from Advanced Warfare, but the high-tempo approach will remain in multiplayer with “a new momentum-based, chained-movement system,” which will allow for “players to move fluidly through custom-built environments with finesse.” Also, starting today, all pre-orders will receive access to the upcoming multiplayer beta.
