Batman: Arkham Knight gets 1989 Movie Batmobile, Bat-Family Skins

Two new downloadable packs have gone live for Batman: Arkham Knight, the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack and Bat-Family Skin Pack. The Batmobile Pack adds not only the Batmobile from the 1989 film but also another skin based on the film for Batman, as well as two racetracks inspired by Batman and Batman Returns. The Bat-Family Skin Pack is a bundle of six skins from various timelines: 1990s Catwoman, One Year Later Robin, Arkham Origins Batman, Iconic Grey & Black Batman, 1970s Batman, and Original Arkham Nightwing. Each pack runs $1.99. New screenshots, a new trailer, and a DLC release schedule were also released.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family out for console

Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family, the first story add-on for Arkham Knight, has launched for Season Pass holders of the console version. Everyone else will get their chance to play the Batgirl next week when the $6.99 pack goes live for all. The WB Games Montréal-developed expansion is set before the events of Arkham Knight and follows Batgirl and Robin as they attempt to save Commissioner Gordon from The Joker at Seagate Amusement Park. Details about two upcoming DLC packs were also announced.

Warner Bros. has released the launch trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. Rocksteady’s return to the series will be released tomorrow for console and PC, and the trailer offers a two-minute look at the allies and villains that will be waiting for players once they hit the streets of Gotham.

Warner Bros. has released a new gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. The seven-minute-long video, Time To Go To War, follows Batman as he squares off against the Arkham Knight’s militia and takes down one of Scarecrow’s safe houses. Accompanying screenshots from those portions of the game were also released. The footage is from the PS4 version.

Warner Bros. has debuted a new live-action trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight, Be The Batman. Featuring The Wretched by Nine Inch Nails, the video features a variety of everyday people rising to the occasion. Though, to be fair to the people standing up to the muggers in alleys and subways, and the firefighter facing down an inferno to save someone, the athlete seems a little out of place. Unless Scarecrow has also taken to dominating the courts as well.

Batman: Arkham Knight now launching June 23, plus gameplay trailer

Rocksteady has rescheduled the worldwide launch for Batman: Arkham Knight from June 2 to June 23. To tide series fans over, a new, nearly eight-minute-long gameplay trailer was released. Titled Officer Down, the video follows Batman as he glides and zips around Gotham, engaging thugs in melee combat (for a 30-hit combo), saving injured officers, and destroying rides in the Batmobile. The footage was captured directly from the PS4 version.

Warner Bros. released the final trailer of the Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer trilogy for Batman: Arkham Knight last weekend during the PlayStation Experience. The Official Batman: Arkham Knight – Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer – Pt 3 features more melee combat as well as the Arkham Knight’s Automated Gunship and a look at the PS4-exclusive bonus Scarecrow Nightmare Mission Pack. Warner Bros. has released the latest video of their Ace Chemical Infiltration trailer series for Batman: Arkham Knight. The second of the trilogy continues on from the first, with new footage of the Batmobile in Battle Mode as well as a glimpse at the Arkham Knight’s militia and drone tanks. New Batman: Arkham Knight trailer, Ace Chemicals Infiltration Part 1

Warner Bros. has begun to roll out new series of gameplay videos from Batman: Arkham Knight. First up is The Official Batman: Arkham Knight – Ace Chemicals Infiltration – Pt. 1, the first of a trilogy set during a hostage situation. Batman must infiltrate the Ace Chemicals plant and save the remaining workers while battling Arkham Knight and the Scarecrow’s forces. The footage showcases the new Fear Takedown move and incorporation of the Batmobile into Combat Mode.

E3 2014: Sony – White PS4 Destiny bundle, PS TV, PS Now, more

Sony has announced that they will be expanding the PlayStation 4 line with a Destiny bundle that comes with a new Glacier White model. The pack will launch this fall and come with the system, a 30-day membership to PS Plus, and a copy of Destiny for $449. Alongside the model, Sony will also be releasing white peripherals, including a Dual Shock 4 and vertical stand. Several features were also announced, including greater Youtube integration, which will allow users to share, view, and upload videos. Another feature will allow PS3 and PS4 owners to invite PSN friends to join multiplayer sessions in titles they don’t own, with support announced for Far Cry 4.
