PS4 version of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom gets three editions

Role-playing fans will be able to grab one of three physical editions for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The PC version will only be available digitally, but PS4 owners will be able to purchased a $59.99 Day One Edition (Special Sword Set DLC), $79.99 Premium Edition (music CD, SteelBook case, and more), or a $199.99 Collector’s Edition (plush, making-of Blu-Ray, diorama, DLC Season Pass, and more). Full details for each can be found below. The Season Pass can be bought separately for $19.99, which includes two unspecified “large” releases as well as a Supply Kit that features “items hand-picked for the discerning adventurer.”

Eliza, Taiko No Tatsujin-themed accessories added to Tekken 7

A new fighter has joined Tekken 7’s roster today: Eliza. Skipping the queue to beat upcoming downloadable character Geese Howard out of the gate, Eliza brings a unique background along with her vampiric abilities. Players looking to customize their experience will also find several Taiko No Tatsujin-themed items on offer, ranging from outfits to health gauge skins. PS4 owners to get physical retail version of .hack//G.U. Last Recode

Bandai Namco has announced that they will be releasing a physical console version of their upcoming collection .hack//G.U. Last Recode. The retail release will be available alongside the digital version, which will also be sold for PC. Recode will bundle together updated versions of Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption. Each will feature 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, 16:9 widescreen picture, balance changes, and unspecified extras.

Tekken 7 gets the Fatal Fury touch with Geese Howard DLC

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom delayed until January

Ni no Kuni II won’t be making it out this year. Bandai Namco has sent word that Level-5’s upcoming role-playing game has been delayed for several weeks, pushing it back into early 2018. According to Akihiro Hino, CEO and President of Level-5, the decision was made because “more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience to our fans,” and that the studio apologizes for the delay. Role-playing fans can now look forward to it releasing on January 19.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy bundle revealed

Bandai Namco will be launching a Naruto Shippuden collection on August 25 for console and PC. The compilation will feature all four titles from the Ultimate Ninja Storm series. The first three entries will be remastered for the current console generation, while all of the games, including the fourth, will have all of their respective major downloadable packs. The physical release also comes with a Steelbook case, art book, and at select retailers, bonus anime.

Tekken 7 – Ultimate Tekken Bowl announced for August release

Players will soon be able to hit the lanes in Tekken 7 with the release of Ultimate Tekken Bowl. The downloadable expansion will be the first for the latest entry, and is set to hit digital outlets next month. No price was announced, but a trailer was released to show the drop in action.

Tales series goes mobile this summer with Tales of The Rays

The Tales series is getting the mobile treatment with Tales of The Rays. The free-to-play role-playing game will be a 3D entry for Android and iOS devices. In the portable adventure, players will take on the role of Ix and Mileena, who set out on a journey filled with dungeons, monsters, and treasure in an effort to revive the world. Several characters will also return to help the new heroes. The game is said to offer “console-quality graphics and gameplay, including the all-new Linear Motion Battles system, with simple controls optimized for mobile devices” along with new Mirrage Artes.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia coming to PS4

Bandai Namco will be bringing The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia to North America. Based on the manga and anime series, the PS4 exclusive will be an action title featuring characters of the titular group, a gang of rebels blamed for overthrowing the Kingdom of Liones. The party is hunted by the elite Holy Knights, and when a mysterious girl appears to seek out the gang, “the world gets turned on its head and an extraordinary adventure begins.”
