Avernum: Great Trials Trilogy launches on Steam, now 20% off
Spiderweb Software continues to expand their presence on Steam with the release of Avernum: Great Trials Trilogy. The $11.99 bundle includes the last three releases in the Avernum series (4, 5, and 6). The three are within the same world as their predecessors but do not require prior experience, with the fourth entry taking place long after the third. Avernum 4 pits players against new monsters and assassins, against a re-emergent assassin threat in 5, and against a new foe, a race of barbarous lizards, in 6.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit now available on Steam
Spiderweb Software’s Avernum: Escape from the Pit, a remastered version of 1995′s Exile: Escape From the Pit, is now available on the company’s site store and Steam. The update is a complete overhaul with improved graphics, mechanics, and interface. Escape from the Pit will have some company soon as the entire trilogy is scheduled to be updated and released under the Avernum moniker.

Spiderweb Software slahes prices on Avadon, Geneforge, and more
Spiderweb Software, developer of the Geneforge series, has lowered their store prices by at least 20%. The studio is also knocking an additional 10% off for the month of October, which brings both Avadon: The Black Fortress or Avernum 6 to $18 apiece. For gamers wanting to try their hands at some indie RPG action before buying, the company’s page hosts several demos.
