It’s also the sound of Persona 4 Golden strutting its stuff on the PS Vita with over 100,000 copies in its first week of release in Japan, making it one of the biggest titles for the system this year. Persona 4 Arena unleashes the fury in new Full Trailer
Atlus has released the first “full” trailer for Persona 4 Arena, the upcoming 2D fighter based on the Shin Megami Tense series co-developed with BlazBlue developer Arc System Works. The 360, PS3 fighter, set to hit store shelves on August 7, will feature elements of the role-playing series, including characters, stages, and afflictions, such as life-draining poison and control-reversing panic.

Atlus addresses their decision to region lock Persona 4 Arena
Atlus made some waves recently with the announcement that its upcoming fighter based on the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, Persona 4 Arena, will be the first PlayStation 3 game to be region locked. While the option has always been available for companies, Atlus is the first to take advantage of it due to the short window between releases. Atlus sees life one Monday and raises it one official box art. The final cover of their upcoming 2D fighter based off of the Shin Megami Tense series to be exact, Persona 4 Arena. Gungnir now available in stores and on PSN for PSP, PS Vita
Even though the PS Vita is out, the ol’ PSP is still getting some much-needed attention. Fans of strategy-RPGs have another reason to break out the workhorse with the launch of Atlus’ Gungnir. The latest in Sting’s Dept. Heaven series, Gungnir follows the 2009/2010 shooter-RPG hybrid Knights in the Nightmare. And fear not Vita owners, you should be able to scratch that strategy itch as well because the PSN version “is also expected to be compatible with PlayStation Vita.”
