At the moment, “Atlus USA currently has no information about a localization for this title, but wanted to present the details from the Japanese reveal of this title to the western market.” More info should be along soon, but for now, the trailer can be found below.

Persona 5 delayed until April, gets Japanese VO, free PS4 theme

Persona fans, Atlus has some good news and some bad news. First, the bad news: Persona 5 has been delayed. The game is now scheduled to be released on April 4. But there’s a reason why it’s been bumped back from February 14, and that’s the good news: the Japanese voice over will be available as a free download. Now that wouldn’t normally delay a game, but instead of simply packing in download vouchers, the studio is also going back to fine tune the localization, and even record new lines for previously undubbed bits. Additionally, there will be a playable demo at this year’s PlayStation Experience, and they have also released a dynamic theme for PS4 on PSN that is free for the next 24 hours. Impatient players can see the game in action right now, over at Atlus’ Twitch channel. Before heading over, be sure to check below to see updated art for the two editions as well as three new videos highlighting Yusuke Kitagawa, Makoto Niijima, and Makoto’s voice actor, Cherami Leigh.
