Atlus bringing Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord to North America

Tears to Tiara 2 Heir of the Overlord (PS3) Announcement - Screenshot 1

The strategy-RPG series Tears to Tiara will make its official North American debut with Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord. Fighting fans might recognize the name from Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match, the Examu-developed crossover brawler also published by Atlus, but Heir of the Overlord marks the first time the series has had a full localized release. Atlus is translating the text to English but noted that they are leaving the Japanese audio as it is. The campaign is said to last over 80 hours, mixing turn-based combat with visual-novel-style storytelling elements. The plot is … unique: Hamilcar Barca, father of the famous Hannibal, throws off the yoke of the Divine Empire and sets out on a path of revenge to retake the kingdom of Hispania, guided by a goddess and harnessing the strength of a malevolent demon that awakens within him.

Abyss Odyssey (360, PC, PS3) Launch Announcement - Screenshot 1

Ace Team’s lovely 2D action-adventure title Abyss Odyssey has launched for 360, PC, and PS3. The console versions are both on sale during launch week as well, with 30% off for PS3 and 33% off for 360.
