Assassin’s Creed Revelations – PS3 launch copies to include original
Another extra for PS3 gamers, Ubisoft has announced that day-one copies of Assassin’s Creed Revelations will include the original Assassin’s Creed on the disc. Gamers will be able to experience Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad’s original adventure and follow up the end of the storyline with his ancestor’s final battle with the Templars as Ezio heads to Jerusalem.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations – PSN multiplayer beta to open to all
The Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta will be available to all PSN members starting tomorrow, and is scheduled to run until September 11. The beta includes access to nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster, and The Champion), three maps (Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, and Constantinople), and four playable modes (Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault).

Ubisoft announces six for PS Vita, Assassin’s Creed and Rayman
Ubisoft is going all-in on Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Portable successor, PS Vita. The studio has announced six titles currently in development, including some from their biggest franchises. Vita owners can look forward to diving into new entries of Asphalt, Assassin’s Creed, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Lumines, and Michael Jackson the Experience, as well as the upcoming Rayman Origins.

AC: Revelations multiplayer beta to launch first for PS Plus, Uplay
PlayStation 3 gamers will get a shot to try the online component for Assassin’s Creed Revelations first when a multiplayer beta launches on September 3. Assassin’s Creed Embers release, availability details announced
Assassin’s Creed Embers, the upcoming computer-generated animated short, has been in the works for a while now. Today, Ubisoft sent word that they plan to ship it during Revelations’ launch window, sending it out to stores as the latter reaches them. Embers will serve as an epilogue to Revelations, wrapping up Ezio’s long-running adventure.

Ubisoft to bring Rabbids, Rayman, and more to Comic-Con 2011
The Comic-Con train roars along today with Ubisoft’s announced plans to regale attendees with their wares. Gamers will be able to check out the first public demos of Just Dance 3, Rabbids: Alive & Kicking, and Rayman Origins. The company will also be holding a panel discussion based around the Assassin’s Creed franchise, which will include writers from the upcoming game Revelations and animated film Embers.
