LookAtMyGame’s 2D action role-playing game Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus is now on PSN. Beginning today, PS4 players can try their hands at saving Exidus by solving the puzzles and defeating the monsters that fill the land’s four realms. Areas will also host extra quests and non-playable characters, including monsters and villagers, that can be interacted with once the appropriate runes are discovered. Light role-playing elements also allow players to gain new skills as they progress.

Aksys Games will be releasing a console version of LookAtMyGame’s PC action role-playing game Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus. The 2D side-scroller tasks players with saving the lands of Exidus by clearing out four monster- and puzzle-filled realms. As players progress, they will gain new skills, discover extra quests, and uncover runes that allow them to talk with both villagers and monsters. Console gamers can look for it to hit eShop and PSN later this month.

Zero Escape gets physical in Real Zero Escape: Trust on Trial

A surprising bit of Zero Escape news out of Aksys today with word that a real escape room will be constructed in Los Angeles. Working with Scrap Entertainment and Spike Chunsoft, a room based on the series will be opening on April 15 in Weller Center. The event, dubbed Real Zero Escape: Trust on Trial, will be a 60-minute-long custom scenario designed to keep attendees from escaping in time. Tickets will go on sale on February 29.

Aksys Games will be bringing the Shiren series back to North America this summer with Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. Scheduled to launch on July 26, the Spike Chunsoft-developed roguelike will be exclusive to the PS Vita. In addition to a single-player campaign, multiplayer will also be supported, and allies will be able to stave off permadeath by reviving one another in ad hoc mode.

Aksys Games has released Arc System Works and Vinyl Lab’s rhythmic action title Radiohammer. Now on eShop for 3DS, Radiohammer puts players in the headphones of three DJs who have set out to save the world with music. Over 50 tracks are used to defeat zombies, streakers, and a variety of other odd enemies. In addition to Story Mode, the game also includes Otherworld Mode, Track Play, Random Play, and Juke Box.

Aksys Games has announced that they will be returning to the Guilty Gear series next year with Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator-. The Arc System Works fighter will be available next spring for PS3 and PS4 with over 20 fighters, new modes, and support for cross-platform multiplayer. One of the new modes is Stylish Type, a feature that will be familiar to Blazblue players, which helps newcomers ease into the game by allowing them to unleash flashy single-button combos.

Zero Escape 3 officially titled Zero Time Dilemma

Aksys Games has revealed that the sequel to Spike Chunsoft’s Zero Escape 3 has been officially titled Zero Time Dilemma. As with Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Virtue’s Last Reward, players will once again need to navigate a series of puzzles and difficult moral decisions in order to survive a gruesome death and uncover the truth behind their confinement. Series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi is once again heading up development.

The PS Vita version of Chrono Phantasma Extend has launched online and in stores. This latest version features the 2.0 balance patch, an improved online lobby, and a host of new additions, including characters, stages, and story modes. A new Guard Gauge System has been also added, along with its associated Barrier Gauge and Guard Crush. Stylish Mode, a way for newcomers to learn the mechanics, has been expanded with four new features: Auto Guard, Combo Attacks, Special Abilities, and Distortion Drive. Additionally, online play has been updated with an improved online lobby that allows players to invite others into a customizable room, where they can fight or watch the ongoing match in Spectator mode.

Over the weekend, Aksys announced that they will be bringing over the follow-up to Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, Zero Escape Volume 3, to 3DS and PS Vita next summer. As with its predecessors, including series originator 999, players must make their way through a trap-filled labyrinth by solving puzzles alongside other prisoners. The visual novel-theme will return along with multiple endings, voiced cinematics, and dual voice-over support.

BlazBlue is back with Chrono Phantasma Extend for PS3, PS4, and Xbox One. A handheld version for PS Vita is slated for release on July 28. Extend features the 2.0 balance patch, an improved online lobby, and new characters, stages, and story modes. The 28-character roster can now utilize an updated Guard Gauge System, with its Barrier Gauge indicating when to attack or block and the Guard Crush to follow once the Barrier Gauge is empty. Newcomers can learn the ropes by engaging Stylish Mode, which now has four new features, Auto Guard, Combo Attacks, Special Abilities, and Distortion Drive. Online play has also been updated with a modified online lobby that allows players to invite others into a customizable room, where they can battle or enter Spectator mode to check out the current match.
