Activision has released a new trailer for the latest Black Market update for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Supply Drops are now packed new taunts, head and body variants for Specialists, camo, and three melee weapons (Brass Knuckles, Butterfly Knight, and Wrench). Drops are called using earned Cryptokeys, but a new optional virtual currency is being introduced, Call of Duty Points, to get Rare Supply Drops. To introduce the currency, anyone who logs into the game will receive a gift of 200 Points. Treyarch has posted an article detailing the additions.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare launches online for PS4, Xbox One

Activision has released Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for PS4 and Xbox One. An enhanced re-release of Torn Banner Studios’ first-person action title, the latest version features a new horde mode for teams of up to six, over 25 maps, 24-player online multiplayer, and dedicated servers. The base game is available for $19.99, while an expanded version, Ultimate Edition, runs $29.99 and includes several DLC packs that add extra skins and weapons. The bundled add-ons are also on sale separately for $7.99 each: Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle, and Barbarian Weapon Pack.

Torn Banner Studios’ Medieval-era action title Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will be making the jump to PS4 and Xbox One, according to Activision. The updated port is scheduled to launch on December 1 for $19.99. The game will feature a new horde mode for teams of up to six, 24-player online multiplayer, dedicated servers, and 25-plus maps. Launching on the same day is the $29.99 Ultimate Edition, which will come bundled with several downloadable add-ons: Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle, and Barbarian Weapon Pack.

Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III has launched online and in stores. Set 50 years into the future, soldiers are heavily altered by bio-technology and cybernetic enhancements, allowing them to utilize the entry’s signature addition, a new momentum-based movement system. The campaign, as with all modes, is playable online, and up to four players will be able to go through the story together. Multiplayer also features a Specialist system, with players choosing from nine different soldiers who have their own set of unique customization unlocks. Weapon customization has also been given a bump via Gunsmith, allowing for custom paint jobs access to a more advanced emblem editor. eSport features have been implemented, such as Theater, as has a new loot system, the Black Market. Lastly, Zombies returns with Shadows of Evil, a new campaign featuring four strangers making their way through a noir-film-inspired world, and Zombies also return in the main campaign once players finish the game.

Over the weekend, Activision released a new live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Seize Glory features Michael B. Jordan introducing and Marshawn Lynch awing at Kevin, the everyday player who is utilizing some of the new maneuvers and skills to navigate around and take down zombies and mechs. The trailer was directed by Wayne McClammy.

Activision is following up yesterday’s launch gameplay trailer with a new video to showcase The Giant bonus map for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The map, available in Zombies, will be included with all Collector’s Editions and pick up the story where Origins ended with Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richthofen battling through Der Riese. The map features hellhounds, teleporters, and a Pack-a-Punch machine for upgrading weapons. Activision has released a launch gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The video gives an overview of the core three modes, with the campaign sending players across the globe to track down their squadmates in the midst of a new Cold War, multiplayer adding a new momentum-based chained movement system, and Zombies returning as the noir-inspired Shadows of Evil. The campaign can be completed solo or with friends, who can be connected to at any time. Multiplayer also introduces the Specialist system that allows players to progress up to nine characters through a challenge-based system.
