Underworld Ascendant developer Otherside Entertainment has announced that they are currently working on System Shock 3. The studio was able to secure the System Shock trademark from Night Dive Studios after nabbing IP rights to all future versions. A teaser site is already up, with SHODAN, who is once again voiced by Terri Brosius, making an appearance. Members of the two previous development teams have signed on to lend a hand, including Paul Neurath, System Shock 2 senior artist Nate Wells, and series lead concept artist Robb Waters.

NIS has released a new trailer and screenshots from The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition. The upcoming PS4 re-release will feature improved visuals; a new dungeon, The Tower of Illusion, which generates enemies and loots depending on the weapon sacrificed to enter; and as revealed in the trailer, a new quest to summon the Great Witch of the Swamp: Master Metallia as a playable character.

Acttil bringing PS4 action-RPG Fallen Legion stateside next summer

YummyYummyTummy’s upcoming side-scrolling action role-playing game Fallen Legion will be coming to North America, courtesy of Acttil. Slated to launch next summer for PS4, Fallen Legion tasks players with saving the Kingdom of Fenumia. As the recently crowned Queen Cecille, players must quash a rebellion to restore the safety of the realm. The queen has to not only lead her soldiers into battle, with up to four characters engaging in real-time combat, but also rule her subjects by making administrative decisions.

Atlus has announced a Storybook Edition for Vanillasoftware’s Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The $79.99 limited edition will be exclusive to PS4 and come packed with a 64-page hardcover art book with work by George Kamitani and Vanillaware, a soon-to-be-revealed art print, a potion recipe t-shirt, a metal slipcase for the game, and an outer box. Standard version buyers won’t be completely left out, as those will come bundled with a 64-page softcover art book. A release window was also revealed: spring 2016.

Zombasite gets patched to .906 with multiplayer, stability fixes

A new patch has been rolled out for Zombasite, 0.906. The update addresses over 90 issues, including pets no longer getting kicked out of the party when entering or ending a raid, Riposte skill walking players into range, and the character menu pausing the game when open. Zombasite updated to version 0.905 with over 70 changes

Soldak has released a new patch for Zombasite. The latest update brings the game up to version 0.905 with over 70 tweaks. Some of the changes include empty towns spawning less monsters, traps triggering faster, nights turning darker, and clans being limited to starting rumors about only those with whom they’ve had contact. Nier: Automata officially named, trailer and screenshots released

Square Enix has announced that the untitled Nier project revealed during E3 has been officially titled Nier: Automata. A new trailer and batch of screenshots were released from the title’s recent presentation at Paris Games Week. The collaboration with PlatinumGames will put players in the role of 2B, a battle android with the YoRHa automated infantry squad. Her assignment is to defeat an army of machines that have forced humanity to flee Earth and seek shelter on the moon. To accomplish her mission, she has access to a sword for close-range combat and a Pod support system to battle ranged enemies. As she progresses, the truth about the origins of the struggle will be revealed.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition has launched for console, as has the free update that brings the PC version up to snuff. In fact, Larian has stated that the update adds over 1,000 improvements. The console debut features an interface designed for controllers, online and split-screen co-op play, remastered and fully voiced dialog, a revised storyline, a tweaked crafting system, and more. The PC version received many of the same features, such as dynamic split-screen co-op, along with support for controllers and 4K resolution.
